    Philips 37PFL8605 help

    Hi friends

I recently bought Philips 37PFL8605 , but I have problems with picture.
When I turn on TV I have vertical strips in middle of screen, and T-Con is overheating , these two ICs on Tcon get very hot.

Also my power supply gets hot, only on transformer marked as 2NP000080DA-R.

I want to order new boards, but I can not diagnose fault, is it bad T-Con ,or power supply or lcd panel.

Can you please help me with diagnose.

    Thank you

    Re: Philips 37PFL8605 help

post a picture of the screen problem.

advanced, manage attachments, then upload the pic.

from there it will appear as a thumb tile that we can blow up if we need to.

add a pic of the entire rear of the tv too thanks.

I would say bad panel. Possibly something shorted on panel pcb
I assume no responsibility for any stupid suggestions I might post.

if you slightly flex the panel, (bottom edge in this case), does the picture change at all?

and is the fault over the menu screen?

One of those tab bonding board on the bottom edge of the panel which gets damage by the cleaning fluid, so look for corrosion on that area of the tab bonding board.
