I disconnected the GPU+VRam coils, but the laptop still doesn’t turn on. I believe that there is a problem with the EC chip KB9548QF2. If I would replace the EC chip, do I need to program it as well? Or will the BIOS program it automatically?

On the mosfet side it is more than 2 kohm, on the VRAM side it is 0 - 0.1 ohm.
If the VRAM and graphics chip are not powered (coils are lifted), should the laptop start?
What would be the boot sequence of the laptop ?

Yes, those cois are for VRAM and video chip. I have isolated them from the system by lifting those coils. I got the same problem.

MSI Katana GF66-12UC - don't turn on
MSI Katana GF66 12UC-873XES-BB51245H16GXXDXX, motherboard model is MS-15821 ver 2.0, bios chip model is MX25L25673G, serial number is K2304N0140517
1. When its connected to power supply (battery is disconnected), the consume is 22mA for 2 seconds and then 88mA, without to press power button, and stay on this state forever.
Main power rail is present 19V, and other voltages on the board 3.3V, 5V, 1.8V. Memory voltage missing. No fans spinning. I checked with thermal camera only PCH (nud FH82HM570 SRKMA) is warm (32* C).
Its doing same thing when the board is not...4 Photos

MSI Katana GF66 12UC
Hello,
I'm looking for a bios to flash for the MSI Katana GF66 12UC-873XES-BB51245H16GXXDXX, motherboard model is MS-15821 ver 2.0, bios chip model is MX25L25673G, serial number is K2304N0140517.
It doesn't start, battery charges fine, had to remove chip to read on xgpro.
I've attached the read from current bios.
Thank you...

Asus Zenbook Duo Pro UX8402ZE
Hi guys,
I have this laptop with no power, no start, no LED lights. When I checked the mainboard I found a short at the CPU power supply, a dual mosfet MP8694 in short. MP8694 is controlled by MPS2216. After replace, the laptop is coming on, battery is charging.
I try to reinstall the OS, Win11 but I get freezing and BSOD.
I placed un USB stick with Hiren, and start to check the CPU, I get warnings "cpu throttling" with CPU-Z.
Ideeas ?...

When the controller is powered, I can see a light from that "optocoupler" on the left hand side.

The controller starting when is powered and waiting for ON/OFF button command.
The ON/OFF button is made with an optoelectronic device which detect your finger, but is not responsive to anything.

Hi,
I got an error "System Alert high temperature" in 7s after boot. When the power button is pressed, the logo appears and after a few seconds the pairing code appears. After a second, the error message is displayed

It's doing that even without charging base, and the battery is fully charged. I will check again the power adapter.
Can you tell what is doing the micro-usb port next to the battery?...
