I received it this way. Plug the tv in the red lights along the buttons light up (all of them) and the power display in center, all in red. The button lights will shut off after a couple seconds. If I press the power button the red buttons will light up again and shut off. The power indicator at center stays red. If I unhook the back lights or t-con nothing changes. If I disconnect the power supply form the input board it puts it into a back light test mode? (similar to Samsung). I have zero or almost zero voltage at all points except BL which is 4.108V off and 4.103V on, 5V 5.169V off and 5.162V on and OFF 50.8mV off and 50.7mV on.(when hooked up and testing between power cycles) If I disconnect the cable between the input and the power supply the reading on the cable are 14V 11.921V, BL 4.098V, 12V(both) 11.93V, 5V 5.175V, OFF .83V. everything else is zero. I can not find a flow chart. I believe this indicates a bad input board. Any thoughts?

Re: NS-46E560A11 Will not turn on.
With the main board disconnected what are the voltages on the following power supply pins next to Led1
Code:1 +12V = 2 +12V = 3 GND = 4 +12V = 5 GND = 6 GND = 7 +5VSTB = 8 EXT_DIM = 9 GND = 10 PS_ON = 11 INT_DIM = 12 BL_ON =

With the main board reconnected can you monitor PS_ON when you switch out of standby. Does the voltage rise and then fall?Willing to help but I'm no expert.Comment

Re: NS-46E560A11 Will not turn on.
I'm not 100% certain but since the supplies are all up and backlights on when the mainboard is disconnected then I'm suspecting a main board fault but would be worth waiting to see what others think could be the problem.Last edited by dick_barton; 04-09-2017, 03:37 PM.Willing to help but I'm no expert.Comment

Re: NS-46E560A11 Will not turn on.
That's what's confusing me. I believe it is ON when PS_ON is taken low by the main board.
But with the main board connected and in standby, PS_ON at 1.27V looks awful low to start off with but does go 50mV when switched out of standby.
.
The power supply itself tested OK when PS_ON was at 0.8VWilling to help but I'm no expert.Comment

Re: NS-46E560A11 Will not turn on.
First test was connected which gave the same voltages listed above. The second test with the main board disconnected that turned on the back lights was a similar method used on Samsung TV's for testing the power supply.Comment

Re: NS-46E560A11 Will not turn on.
It is may one of those similar to Samsung board that only needs about 1V for PS-ON, and 0V for OFF.Last edited by budm; 04-09-2017, 05:02 PM.Never stop learning

by gabrielA7Does not turn on, lights 3 of the 4 LEDs and turns off and stays like this, presses the power and repeats.
I saw that the room LED lights up only when the screen is connected, so quiet.
We have all the power supplies, even processor, 1.8V
One thing I found strange, it has a very low resistance in the Vcore is giving 1 Ohm , work with notes and such, I know that this is normal in some processors but with this resistance only take video card so found it strange.
I suspect that there may be some leak in the processor.
Anyway, when I press the power, it... -

Thank you in advance for your understanding, I am writing to you through a translator.
A Harman Kardon AVR171S amplifier was given.
The history of the machine is as follows:
It was faulty when I bought it, I want to fix it.
I replaced the HDMI switch and one of the DAC ICs in it.
After that it worked without a problem.
I watched a movie using the amplifier, and at the end the amplifier got really hot.
The cooling was faulty, I will fix this later.
I switched it to standby mode, waited for...-

by pajdekHello, i have some issues with my laptop Lenovo Y700-17ISK (motherboard BY511 NM-A541), it started when i turn on the laptop, but the lcd wont turn on, i then connected it via hdmi to tv and screen was ok. So i thought maybe lcd stripe is faulty, i removed the bottom cover, disconnected main battery, reset the cmos by disconnecting battery for 1 min, then slighty move the lcd stripe. Conncted power supply and tuned on my laptop, the lcd turn on, it started to load os, then it turn off, after a second it turn on, then after like 3 seconds turn off again, and so on. Removed power supply, waited...

by RdeveLabsTo all the members here...
Let me tell you a little bit about what happened to my laptop (MSI GF63 THIN 11UCX model: MS-16R6) that “maybe” you know how to solve this problem.
So before this problem happened, my laptop was running smoothly. When I wanted to restart my laptop, it looked fine at first. But after I waited for this restart process to take a long time, until finally I panicked (because the restart process did not finish plus the laptop screen only showed a black screen), I immediately pressed and held the power button to force the laptop to turn off. But... -
by EazyBoneTCL 55fs3750 turns on, everything looks good, then out of no where it starts clicking as if a button is being pressed repeatedly and will continue like this until the TV shuts it self off. It's kind of odd. The buttons on side of TV are connected in channel to the ir blaster, so if I disconnect the buttons, I lose remote abilities. If I disconnect the ir blaster and turn it in normal problem still exists. If I disconnect the buttons after I turn the TV on, the problem continues .
Strange, anyone experienced this before? What should I check if you know. It's not remote related as... - Loading...
