    LG 50LB650V No Picture

    hello

    tv is just displaying a bright screen no image at all backlights are working
    checked fuse voltages on tcon board 11.91 volts
    no gamma voltages totally dead
    and also tried disconnecting tcon lvds cable one at a time and still no display

    anyone else come across this fault ?

      Ive had that Tcon blow up on a 42" Sony, one of the small power reg Ic's near the DCDC converters was destroyed. If I remember these are cheap to replace bud.

          Tcon replacement fixed the fault

                      Hi,

                      i want to repair a Sony KD-75XF9005 TV that initially only showed a grey picture.
                      Backlight seems to work, Sound (Setup menu after reset) works.
                      If i dissconnect the left FFC cable from TCON to panel i have half a screen on the right. If left cable is connected always only the grey screen.
                      Interchanged the cables, its always only the right side that is working. Always grey if left side is connected.
                      With my small knowledge i would think at least the cables are good.

                      Can this happen because of a bad tcon board?
                      Or is it always a bad/shorted...

                      I have a TCL 55P6US with sound and backlight but no picture. This model does not have a T-CON board, and the right (rear perspective) panel board is fed from the left panel board. I have not been able to induce any change by disconnecting the secondary panel board or the tape cut-off method on the primary board.

                      There are a bunch of voltages missing on the panel boards. I can't find any shorted caps of the panel boards, and all of the missing voltage rails read in the kiloohms, which leads me to suspect the issue may lie on the circuit board, rather than a short in the panel.

                      Another eazybone post took on this OLED now.

                      Symptoms. Hit power, white light shows briefly and then 5 blink red code. TCON issue per chart on first picture.

                      I'm thinking I have a power board issue though, which is one of the options

                      Now to check pin voltages from PSU to main and PSU to tcon

                      1 tcon on 12 -- 0v (when I hit power this goes to 3.1 stays for short time and back to zero)
                      2 bl err -- 0.16
                      3 evdd on --0
                      4. Ac off det 3.187
                      5 power on -- 3.362 BUT fluctuating randomly to 3.352

                      Good day, I have a TCL TV: Model 43s423. After turning ON the TV, the ROKU TV logo appears with fine lines over the whole screen, then after a while there are vertical bands in the middle of the screen top to bottom and the TV tries to update its firmware but I do not have the remote to connect it to my new network connection. Also the Power ON light blinks 2 times in quick succession. When I remove the ribbon on the right of the tcon board the left side of the screen shows but with fine lines.                       TCL 50S535 bad tcon or panel issue?

                      Just bought this for 10 bucks yesterday hoping to fix it. The guy said water dropped inside from a dehumidifier hose and it started showing black and white vertical bars then went blank. When I got it home and turned it on it came on fine and displayed correctly but I was noticing faint vertical bars in the image. After a little bit I turned it off and back on and it was a black screen again. I opened it up to check for water damage and corrosion but didn't find anything of the sort. I cleaned the ribbons anyway and reconnected them but still got a blank screen. If I disconnect the right side...
