    Hitachi LE42H508 Vertical Lines

    I have a Hitachi LE42H508 with vertical lines, I wanted to know based on your guys experience whether the panel is the issue or the possibility of the Tcon or main board? originally there was one or two vertical lines that would come and go, then the past several weeks my daughter stated to me that there were multiple lines that would come and go. I am not sure if that is symptoms of a bad panel or the TCON/MB having issues. I did disconnect the TCON one side at a time and results can be seen in the photos.

      Panel failure not fixable, expect more rows to start dropping.

              Hello, I have a screen in where sometimes when I open it pop-up vertical multicolor lines (I would say the most of them are green). If I tun off and turn on the screen the lines dissapear or if I leave open the screen after approximately five minutes the lines gone. I measured the below voltages on the main PCB and on the T-CON board and the voltages are the same when it doesn’t display the vertical lines and when it displays the vertical lines. Also, I cleaned all the connectors very good with IPA. I moved back and forth the connectors and the COF tabs but the vertical lines didn't displayed...

              Hi guys…I need your help. My cousin ask me to fix her tv. The tv when I went to pick up showed 3 horizontal black line. So I know it was a bad panel issue but I could try to fix with the tape method so I said her I could fix easy.               Hello everyone,

              I've recently been given a Sony 8k Z8H. It's got a white screen with two vertical black bars. At times it's given me the 5 blink Tcon code. Testing voltage on the Tcon I can see some low or missing voltage. I've done a basic visual check of cables and the COF. Not seeing anything obvious. The original Tcon seemed to have good caps until turning it over. On the bottom I found maybe 10 caps with both sides of the caps shorting to ground. I thought ok these caps and likely other components on the Tcon are shorted so let's try a replacement Tcon. I just received the...

              Colorful LCD Vertical Lines on Samsung ue55es8090

              Hello there, ive recently found an older 55inch Samsung SmartTV.
              Sadly it has vertical lines at the left and one line in the middle-right.

              I have already tested out the connections and have looked at the soldered ribbons of the LCD panel to see if some contacts got loose by pushing them a bit but with no success.
              I have factory resetted the TV as well but also with no luck.

              I am afraid that it is indeed a LCD Panel issue but there are NO scratches or any impact-marks..

              A similar issue has been posted as well but also with no actual response ...

              Hello,

              i order a t-con because i had bad colors on my SONY KDL-40V3000 :




              With the new t-con the color are good but there are vertical lines on all the screen :




              I've tried the old t-con and it returned to the initial issue (bad colors but no vertical lines)

              Is there a way to fix the vertical lines on the new t-con ?
