Since what is shown on the screen now is not the same, then the cables are not seated back in place properly.

Just took another picture like the first one. I think it was the camera angle that didn't show the right side lines on the first one. They are faint, but there.

      Attached both.

Included a third picture that may show the lines better, again, some are faint. The picture appears clear behind the lines.

The lines appear completely across the screen.

you would do yourself a great favor IF you drive the set with a known test pattern signal... then there will be no guessing as to what to expect. Just to make sure it isn't something else like as suggested... cable / ribbon problem.

          Thanks again.

I have no test pattern signal generator.

The attached picture is the clearest I can get. The screen has looked the same from the beginning, before and after re-seating the cables. Nothing has changed. Same vertical red lines.

I apologize for being such an amateur and realize it can be frustrating to deal with.

no problem... just for information, if you have a dvd player, just track down any of number of dvd's (usually ones with thx labels) that have various test screens in the supplemental material.

:-( disappointing that you haven't been able to impact / change the response of the screen.

what does the screen show when you only have one tcon cable plugged in (either side).
