    Forcing inverter to start

Hi guys, i would like to force an inverter to work so i can test CCFLs with it, basically I got a 663l-0623 inverter from a broken TV set that i would like to convert to lamp tester.
Its a 94V inverter with 24V, GND, ON/OFF, VBR-B, STATUS pins on its main connector. Any idea what pins to pull up/down for it to start.

    Inverter picture: (663l-0623A)

Basically i was thinking of feeding him +24V and GND but it didn't produce any HV for lamps to work

I just went through a similar issue, I was trying to replace the inverter in a TV with a generic chinese one. Turns out if I fed 5v to the Von/Off pin then the inverter came on ok.

I would think that On/Off pin on yours would be the one

Wellll, things cant be simple in life i suppose, i tried feeding 5V to the ON/OFF pin and inverter didn't turn on, instead when i feed 5V to IC directly than it turned on... Anyhow, Great success!

You cannot force on the board when the command wires are still connected to the main board since then main board will keep the line LOW (Grounded through the switched Transistors), you have to disconnect the control line from the main board first, and if you jump the pin from STBY pin to the command line pins without the resistor and the connector is still in place then you can damaged the switched Transistor on the main board, ALWAYS use resistor.
