    Help me identify this capacito/resistor

Attached is a MC201 board from Panny TH50PZ85U. Circled in red is the item i need help with. It dislodged itself during soldering and was lost. Need to replace but not sure what to replace it with. Any help is appreciated.

PS dont mind the poor soldering of the ceramic capacitor on the left, It has been cleaned up since.

Not sure if you have tried but maybe try what i suggested in your other thread have look on ebay theres a few compays who repair these mc201 mc301 and send them a question and ask them for the value and size they can only say no to you no harm in asking or even try the company you got your repair kits from they may have a board they can check for you etc.

No luck yet with that, thanks though

get a datasheet for the chip, the circuit is probably close to the example you often get in the datasheet

Check on that power supply board for another module, I know some of the panasonic power supplies did use two
I just checked the manual and that board only has the one, Must have been thinking of a different power board

Looks like its off pin 19 SD shut-down input but does notr list a value for the resistor

There has to be somewhere it is listed or way to check it. Isn't there?

Here is a better picture. I have searched for a datasheet but cannot find anything on this. Please help.

What are the part markings on the IC?

                  Edit: Is this it?

Re: Help me identify this capacito/resistor

That's for the IC but not for the main board it's attached to unless I'm reading it wrong

Are you suggesting I buy a new board?

what about the part you knocked off that you didnt circle?

                              uh oh, where?
keep in mind, this is the 201 chip, The 301 is the one im missing parts for. Just easier to show locations on this one.

stj i think your circle is where the original 1uf cap should be ive done two of these set now i solder the cap onto the pcb pads after removal of the old smd one it looks like hes soldered the new one on to the ic legs but in the top red circle is something missing?

There is an application diagram in the datasheet. Why don't you spend a little time to trace your circuit? Then we may be able to calculate the value of the missing component.

Also, I'm not sure if it is a diode, resistor, or capacitor. Too small for any markings how can i find out?
