The 12v fuse I'm talking about is the one you asked me to measure below the LVDS connector on the mainboard.
You said one would have 5v and the other 12v. The 5v one reads 5v on both ends. The 12v one only has 12v on one side.

No, I said originally that I had 12v on the fuse but then I thought that I should check the other end of the fuse and there is no voltage.

OK, but now you no longer has the 12V on either end of the fuse, right?

Shorted or no short, you do not have 12V for feeding the fuse, and you new T-CON board has blown fuse so now you have TWO problems.
12V should be present at L57 period with good or bad fuse.

The tcon fuse is not blown. Only the one on the mainboard.
Meter beeps when I check it. The only blown fuse is F2 on the mainboard. The one that has 12v going in but no voltage coming out.

Either I'm not explaining things well enough or I just really don't know what I'm doing.

OK, you edited the fuse we are referring to. not the fuse for the T-CON but the white fuse by the connector from the power supply board.

I thought we were talking about the fuse on the mainboard the whole time, that's wh I didn't specify. Lol
I never said there was only 12v on one end of the tcon board fuse. I was talking about the mainboard. I figured that's what we, meaning you, we're focusing on.

Well check the resistance between the end of that 12V fuse that showing no Voltage against chassis GND to see if we have any shorted circuit that caused this fuse to blow.

If it does not show anything <100 Ohms then you can get any fuse with the same current rating to try for now.

My meter is set to auto range. It started at about 12M ohm and is slowing dropping. At the time of this post its 3.9M ohm. After a couple of minutes.

I'm not sure I can solder these tiny fuses.

It has 3A printed on top, you do not need to remove thee blown fuse, you can solder small wire to each end of the blown fuse and then attach the wires to the 3A fuse just for testing right now to find out if the new T-CON board fixes the pictures problem.

You can use 3A automotive BLADE fuse.

Ok. I rigged up a fuse, have to try to figure out how to hold the ends on the fuse on the board or do you think I should solder those ends on the fuse?
Btw, the fuse must not have been blown when I first put the replacement T-Con in or there would not have been any picture at all so if this works won't it just be the same as before? And whatever cause the fuse to blow will probably blow it again.

Use your ohmmeter and check the resistance from the fuse to chassis and check for any shorts before you install the replacement fuse.

I already did that. I posted the results in post 71 but I don't know what it means.

It means that there is no short circuit to blow the fuse so go ahead and replace it.

Ok. I soldered wires to an automotive 12v 2.5a fuse. It's all I had.
Should I solder the other ends to each side of the shorted fuse?

I soldered my rigged up fuse to the blown fuse. Getting 12v on both sides of the fuse on the mainboard. No voltage on the L57 jumper nor any voltage on the T-con fuse nor what I'm assuming is a testing pad right next to it labeled 12v.
