Just got this tv today for free. It turns but the screen is weird.
When first turned in the screen has a darker area on the right that then slowly fades away.
The screen then has weird lines.

You already try having ribbon cables between T-CON and LCD panel connected one at a time?

It is strange that it does not show horizontal lines on the screen when you have images on the screen.
The off color looks like bad Gamma Voltages.
Need to check Gamma Voltages and also try reseating the cables.

I lol try to check voltages. Is there a certain board that is on? Mainboard, t-con?
It didn't come with a stand so it will be harder to work on

There are 4 cabbles from the tcon to the panel. Should I try with just 1 at a time?

Two right tcon ribbons disconnected.
The black fades till it disappears.
For some reason this picture is flipped. The white is the right side.

You can check the DCV at VGMA1~22 test points next, or for $20 you can try a new T-CON.

I do not expect the #2 and #3 should not be the same. 9~7 and 12~14 also have <0.5V different.

I corrected #2. I wrote them down on paper as I measured, then typed them in.
The others are correct.
What does it indicate to you?

Need to find TOM66 spread sheet in the thread some where to fill that in and look at the graph.

I found his spreadsheet thread. It says you need to find AVDD, VCOM, VGH AND VGL.
I found AVDD it reads 15.52v.
I couldn't find just VCOM but I found VCOMF2, not sure if it's the same. It read 6.83v.
Didn't find VGH but found VGHC, it reads 28.79v and VGL IS -6.19v.

I've never used a spreadsheet. I downloaded his utility link but have no idea how to use it. Lol

I got my 25 year old son to help me with excel. There were 2 more entry spots available that I didn't have data for. I only had VGMA 1-22 but there were spots for 1-24, so I dont know if that affects anything.

I hope that will be the T-CON problem, the strange thing is that it shows as PASS in the spread sheet.

Some ones say fail. What is strange is that the tcon board in my tv is a different number than what shows at shopjimmy.
