IH all, Got this vizio tv P65-E1 from FB marketplace hoping to be able to reflow mainboard as selerrstated that it was diagnosed with bad mainboard. However they must have tried to repair tv by putting another board in and they put P55 board in .
Tv starts and responds to remote but screen does not look right , It looks like low resolution with some image ghosting. Now not having original board I dont know what to order ? Any advice how to figure out what exact board fits this tv ?
And another question Would it be possible to adopt this board to this tiv by chagning eeprom or tcon...

TV is fixed now it turns out it was T-CON board. Unfortunately I did not measure voltages after the fix in order to try to find out what component failed but these are cheep enough to replace

Thanks, I may give it a try, I found Nicks tv repar that offfer proper rballing and reflowing so it may be better long term solution

hope someone point to the possible issue before I start buying replacement parts.
Tv starts normal and responds to remote fine, PSU voltages mesured fine 19v was 18.9V under load and 19V with main board disconnected.
Backlight stays on all the time,
Sound works fine.
screen keeps changing form black to full picture in about 1sec intervals.
Picture looks fine with no visible artifacts.
I have disconnected backlights and flashlight test confirmed that picture is still doing the same.

Not quite new to the forum but need help from the community.
My name is Marinko and I have background in electronics but was working with software my whole life.
Repairing electronics was my hobby long time ago when things were simpler,
think schematics included with every tv,
Lot more skills required not to do board level fix and most of the people including me replace complete boards.
Besides electronics I do some watchmaking and lot of repairs on my car as I quite like mechanics too....
