Concerning my problem ......would the two oscilloscopes that I posted be good enough to check my many board?
If not mistaken on is a 10 and the other a 20 Mhz.
It would probably be the only time I use it. I ll even offer if he would rent it to me for a couple of days.

If you only to use it once, don't bother buying one. Then I'd take the risk buying a new board at a decent outfit. Don't buy at Ebay at a seller you can't return nothing. One guy here got hosed with a bad board on a thread I am working on. I get my stuff at SJ (ShopJimmy). You want to order that TCon as well. Not that if you do need it later and then waiting, extra shipping etc... So that is what I would do in your case. SJ, order main and Tcon.

You will still have to learn how to use it first, then you will have to know what you see on the screen and what it means.
