Problem SOLVED!
It was two LED's which were broken on backlight ... power supply does not output 70V if it detects problem with LED's ... So it was in protective mode. I replaced LED's and TV is working normally. Thanks for you help and ideas!Comment

Re: eax64905001 No Pfc Help ?
It should at start up with the Leds out fire up to 80v then back to 24v if there are no Leds if not then the Leds are fine and Psu is at fault. Please Do Not PM My Page Asking For Help Badcaps Is The Place For Advise, Page Linked For Business Reasons Only. Anyone Doing So Will Be Banned Instantly !

Re: eax64905001 No Pfc Help ?
Please for advice. Voltage on P801 - led output is between 0 - 0.6V (oscilating). TV is operating (with headlamp directed on LCD panel I can see MENU). Testpoints P802 (43-45V), P803 same. P203 11.9V, P202 23.3V, P204 23.3V
Q801 - DRAIN 44V source and gate 0V
Q802 - DRAIN 0.130V source and gate 0.020V
Main voltages are 3.45V, 23.4V, 12V, on con. to Mainboard PDIN 1.12V and DRVON is 3,0V
On IC801 pin 9 PWMO (to Q802) is 0,02V. Vcc is 12V and REF is 4,96V. But gate pin 3 is only 0,02V. Thank you for any advice. What voltage should be on IC801 on pin 9? On schematic is Q803 but I can't find it on board - probabaly it's different version.Comment

Did you replaced the entire led stripe or just the single leds? in the second case can you tell me the led's identification code?
ThanksComment

Re: eax64905001 No Pfc Help ?
Hi guys, I have this PSU with a 3 to 4 year old 32" LG TV. A few days ago the good wife splashed water on the TV, near the IR sensor, and now we just have sound and no picture.
Trawling the internet suggests it might be a problem with the t-con board. I have checked the voltage readings on the psu and they seem to tie up with what's in this thread. I should just add that the LED's are coming on, just no picture.
For the t-con board I have checked against the published voltage points and they look ok. Can't find any details or check points on the main video board.
Do you think it will be the t-con that has failed or are there any basic tests I can do on the video board?Comment

Did you dry up all the moisture? Blow some hot air in the spill area with a blower for a couple minutes and retry a start-up.Comment

Re: eax64905001 No Pfc Help ?
We just left it switched off for a few days before stripping it down. No moisture inside.Comment

Re: eax64905001 No Pfc Help ?
Any thoughts on how I can check if it is the tcon board that is faulty, or the video board?Comment

Re: eax64905001 No Pfc Help ?
I tested all the regular test points on the t-con board and they were fine. I checked the t-con fuse for continuity although I'm not sure if I actually checked for 12V.
I can do a quick check and then upload a photo if you think it will help.Comment

Re: eax64905001 No Pfc Help ?
maybe best to start a new thread in the tv section with tv model number etc post what you have checked already and post some clear pictures of the tv include one showing how all the boards are connectedComment

by PipolupsHi there !
I'm having an issue for several weeks with my quite old K70 LUX RGB keyboard. I haven't used it for few months, and once I setup up again my desktop computer, I got several dead LEDs on that keyboard. I tried the Corsair troubleshooting thing (disabling options in iCUE, ...) but nothing changed so I conclude that for some reason some LEDs went in retirement...😅
Decision taken to change these LEDs as I have access to desoldering iron and binocular magnifier, I wrote a ticket to tech support, hopping to obtain the LEDs reference and... They refused to tell me 🙄...10-08-2024, 11:58 AM -
by THE GTCSo I use this TV daily as a second monitor for my PC or my Playstation - at one point a few months back I tried to fix the problem - but in the process, I figured out something that works so I haven't posted this for awhile. It is an annoying trick to have to do though, so I decided to post about it to see if anyone could spot what's wrong. It baffles me because it works on it's own half the time.
When I first got this TV, I was told it wouldn't turn on, and of course I did the flashlight test, and the image was there. Also, the red LED on the front indicated that it had power (it... -
Hi all,
I have what should be a simple job but is causing me issues. There are three LEDs (yellow, green and red) on the indicator panel of a solar PWM controller and these have broken off. I need to replace them but I am unsure of the voltage drop across these. I don't want to replace with random LEDs in case they blow.
I took one of the LEDs out of circuit, put 19V across it with a 500 ohm resistor in series and there is a drop of about 13V across the LED, and this seems to increase as I increase the input voltage.
I thought I could just put a resistor...-

by jimbofzi have replaced many leds strips that have changed blue when they are worn
and the new replacements are perfect white
but when fault finding do quantum leds always look blue? -
by Quantum ICHello everyone
I'm new to LED strip LED replacement.
The original LED comes with a single internal LED or chip. I only get at the moment LEDs with two internal LEDs or chips.
I understand that this is due to the tone of the light they emit.
My Doubt is:
Can I use the LED with two internal chips without problem?
Will there be much difference in the picture?
I'm going to replace all the LEDs.
Both LEDs (original and replacement) are 3V and the same size....03-04-2022, 04:03 PM - Loading...
