Re: Lg 42 led picture upside down
You don't say what model LG you have or what board number you used to replace it so it's difficult to give you an answer at present.
You can try:

Re: Lg 42 led picture upside down
Taken from another website:
"This is most likely a setting that can only be altered using the TVs service menu. On LG flat screens such an option is named "Mirror" (within a sub menu of the service menu) which can be toggled on or off."Willing to help but I'm no expert.Comment

Re: Lg 42 led picture upside down
no need to service remot menu, AZ_Adjust _ IN_StOP IN_Start can be done form any mobile phone ahd IR sender, like galaxsy S5, or from PC with DIY playing wmv files via winamp.

Re: Lg 42 led picture upside down
Your mainboard is not set up for that panel properly. You need a board with the EXACT firmware for that EXACT screen. Its not possible to change the screen type in the service menu either as they might have the option for a screen but the firmware to drive it is not kept on the Tv.Last edited by ReeceyBurger123; 03-31-2016, 02:49 PM.Please Do Not PM My Page Asking For Help Badcaps Is The Place For Advise, Page Linked For Business Reasons Only. Re: Lg 42 led picture upside down
looks easy to get into the service mode without a service remote ive just read this and also saw some youtube videos on it but as reece says not sure if it will work but if you have the parts to build one for free maybe give it a try

Re: Lg 42 led picture upside down
You will need a URC 3940 remote not expensive
Then go here http://openlgtv.org.ru/wiki/index.ph..._menus_/_modes
Works every time for me to access service menus on LG TVsLast edited by sordids999; 03-31-2016, 04:06 PM.Comment

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?by Tynan DillI was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

by ermalsHi all!
I've recently run into an issue with my Samsung UN55H8000AF LED TV displaying no image. I've done quite a bit of research in terms of what could be wrong with it. Below are the steps I've taken prior to reaching out here for some assistance:
1. I've tried replacing the T-Con board (BN95-01594A), twice and have still experienced the same issue with all the boards I've tested with.
2. I've tried to remove one side of the ribbon cable that goes from the T-Con board to the panel and still not getting any image on left or right side.
3. I've checked voltages... -
by jb_BakHey guys great forum glad to have found it. I bought a Sony XBR 65X900C cheaply because it didn't work. No signs of life at all not even a light/led. All I hear is a brief high voltage sound when I throw the power to it.
Didn't see any obvious signs of damage so right away started checking voltages. This is what I see:
Power Board Connector that goes to Main board

Pin 01 NC
Pin 02 NC
Pin 03 "BL_ON": 0V
Pin 04 "N/C"
Pin 05 "STBY 3.3V": 3.5V
Pin 06 "GND": N/C
Pin 07 "AC_OFF"... - Loading...
