I had a 42” smart LG 42LS575T it had the image upside down paid £35 for it and thought its worth a try, used my phone (Android) and went onto google play store and downloaded an app called “ ANYMOTE “ smart remote app, opened it up once downloaded searched for LG let it do its thing, then you will see
    (pic-1) .........

Then grab the right nav arrow on screen and swipe to the left then you get
    (pic-2) ........

Then press “EZ-ADJUST” then follow the instructions on this YouTube video passwords vary but (0413) seems common enough

    https://youtu.be/56GzjTsdeyg

You may need the normal LG remote.....
all the above is for those like me with no LG service remote...

looks easy to get into the service mode without a service remote ive just read this and also saw some youtube videos on it but as reece says not sure if it will work but if you have the parts to build one for free maybe give it a try

They do but I know that its not that, I guess you could just flip the Tv upside and and move the logo off the top too the bottom to watch Tv might be cheaper to do haha

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
    by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

    Assuming...

Samsung UN55H8000AF - No Picture, Working Backlight, Replaced T-Con Board
    by ermals
    Hi all!
I've recently run into an issue with my Samsung UN55H8000AF LED TV displaying no image. I've done quite a bit of research in terms of what could be wrong with it. Below are the steps I've taken prior to reaching out here for some assistance:

    1. I've tried replacing the T-Con board (BN95-01594A), twice and have still experienced the same issue with all the boards I've tested with.
    2. I've tried to remove one side of the ribbon cable that goes from the T-Con board to the panel and still not getting any image on left or right side.
    3. I've checked voltages...

    Sony xbr-65x900c main board issues?
    by jb_Bak
Hey guys great forum glad to have found it. I bought a Sony XBR 65X900C cheaply because it didn't work. No signs of life at all not even a light/led. All I hear is a brief high voltage sound when I throw the power to it.

Didn't see any obvious signs of damage so right away started checking voltages. This is what I see:
Power Board Connector that goes to Main board
    CN6401
    Pin 01 NC
    Pin 02 NC
    Pin 03 "BL_ON": 0V
    Pin 04 "N/C"
    Pin 05 "STBY 3.3V": 3.5V
    Pin 06 "GND": N/C
    Pin 07 "AC_OFF"...
