Four year old LCD TV with LED backlight has no sign of life other than constant green flashing status light and red flashing light on LED power board. Have had the green flashing light before every few months but was always able to reset by holding power button for 10 sec...not this time. All boards appear to be ok visually, no bulged or leaking caps or fried components. Tried to reset several times as well as reloading software from USB drive and leaving unplugged overnight. Nothing seems to help. I have read of people with this issue but no one who ever told of a final solution...some even after replacing virtually every board still had the same problem. I would appreciate all and any suggestions as to how to approach a repair. Thanks to all in advance!

Ok can you upload some pictures of th boards inside the Tv. Either there isnt a voltage present or the Inverter is faulty by the sounds of it.Please Do Not PM My Page Asking For Help Badcaps Is The Place For Advise, Page Linked For Business Reasons Only. Anyone Doing So Will Be Banned Instantly !

Re: Mitsubishi LT 55-164 constant green flashing light
Here is photo of power and inverter boards.
Can't see any obvious signs of bad components on any of them. Checked and got 120v at filter board coming in and goin out to power board as well as going into power board, all ok. Output connectors of power board are not labeled with their voltages to make checking easy.Comment

Re: Mitsubishi LT 55-164 constant green flashing light
Well, no real suggestions from anyone so I did what I swore I wouldn't do...started swapping boards. Replaced power board...no difference. Next replaced inverter board and absolutely no difference. Unless someone gives me some good reason to change the main board, I think I'll just keep searching for someone who has had this problem with an LCD/LED Mitsubishi and successfully repaired it! Would even settle for a definitive "can't be fixed". Just don't know what else to do. Help!Comment

Im hoping someone might be able to give me some idea of what may be wrong with my Monitor Audio RSW12 Sub.
Ive owned it since new in around 2002, so would really like to keep it running if I can, it was the first ‘decent' bit of audio equipment I ever purchased and is a little sentimental.
The issue I had was that it would power up with the red light, but sometimes the green light would not come on and I would get no bass from it. If the green light did come on though, I would get sound out of it.
I have already tried replacing all of the...-

I have an 820-2610-A motherboard that has no green light.
I have noticed is when I do a SMC reset the light on the Magsafe blinks.
From My understanding, the sys onewire circuit is responsible for the green light on the magsafe
The sys onewire circuit on this model and others is more involved
I was hoping if anyone knows about this and how it works, can reply and let me know
I know this is an old model but I am sure there are people who still works on these or knows about them

by esqmoooHello everyone.
This is my development machine. I've been using it since two years and half without any problem except sometimes it wouldn't wake up from sleep.
Lately the issue became more frequent and powering it up would take few seconds to show the POST screen.
Then the computer refuses to power on at all. Now only the caps lock button flashes 7 times then stops. The charging light is always on whenever a power source is connected (battery or charger).
I tried long pressing on the power button, after several seconds it would go off then when the button is released... -
