Re: LG 60PV250 - Glow Screen, no picture
Sounds like the coils. We've had two so far this year, and both needed the Y and drivers repaired. Don't use that Oleg guy to repair, he kept our last driver boards. Use PST if you need the Y rebuilt. Resoldering the coils has worked for us before.

Re: I have a LG 60" plasma model 60PB6650-UA
Finally got the YSUS and found working driver boards. I'm trying to get Nick @ NicksTV to start repairing these 3 boards. Tried that Oleg guy on the Bayster and he kept my parts!!! Still can't believe that. We got our money back, but I had to scour the net to find 2 more. Won't make that mistake again. TV is working perfect. This is our 3 one this year that needed all 3 boards.

Sony XBR65X900B 4 Blink code 'Solved'
So we had this Sony XBR65X900B with a 4 blink error code. The service manual indicates that either a LD, T-Con, or panel are the issues. I had read in a forum that the main problem was the issue. Did the Display, 5, vol -, power to reset it, and update with USB drive. Didn't change anything.
After checking voltages noticed a couple of fets and a ceramic resistor were shorted on the power supply. Service manual didn't mention power supply as a possibility. After changing the TV came right on, and works perfect. Noticed a ton of parts on Ebay for this set that makes me wonder if people are...

D650I-B2 No picture
Just fixed a D650I-B2 with no picture, and a bluish cast to the screen. Voltages missing on the T-Con made me think it was another bad panel ( which is hackable in some cases.) I was successful with a 70" vizio, but it wasn't necessary in this case. The problem was with the main board. I replaced the power supply too since it was open.

Re: seiki se55uy04 Blown PSU 890-pf0-5501
That cheap solder. Replacing that thermistor worked for us twice now. No other service needed.

40PFL4908/F7 Dead with blinking led 'SOLVED'
We got this 40PFL4908 in the shop that was dead with the front panel led blinking. No obvious faults with the power supply, and all the stand by voltages. I have to say it's amazing what crap has a Philips label these days.
We tried the old the hair dryer trick to see if it might be a contact on the main, and sure enough it came right on. Just concentrate your heat on the main ic, and you should get results if it's the same problem. After the tv is on for a brief time that heat sink gets super hot, so the ic needs to be reflowed. Should just call it the red ring o' death....

Re: Samsung UA60D8000 Cycling On/OFF
We are working on this tv (Samsung UA60D8000) currently, and noticed we couldn't force the backlight on. Since the power supply is just clicking we were trying to isolate the problem, and found even when we forced the back light the capacitors never really charged going to the leds. We replaced the FETs at Q9201. It worked perfect !!!

Re: 2014 Sanyo 50" LED DP50E84 main board
We're working on a DP50E84 also. The symptoms include the flash at start, and then nothing no backlight. If you turn it off and back on, it works great. We've ran it for hours with no other issues. Initially we had a wonky picture due to cables connections from the 120 Hz board to the T-Con. We took the tape off that seemed to be stressing the ribbon cables to the 120 Hz board. That fixed the picture, but it stills doesn't come on until you turn it off and back on.
