Have a samsung that will not power up. I get no standby light or nothing. Main caps on ps read 163v, and connector cnm803 I get no readings on any of the pins, need to know where to start looking thanks.

Check the DCV BETWEEN the two legs of the startup cap CM806. You MUST BE REAL CAREFUL since you will be working int he deadly primary side of the circuit so I hope you know what the precaution you MUST take when working in the primary side.Never stop learning

10~11VDC may be too low for the SMPS IC to start. Can you look at the P/N of that 8-pin SMD IC in that section where the cap is?'
You can also try heating up that cap to see the STBY power supply will startup, or you can just replace the cap.Never stop learning

"Pn is s3310343 on the 8 pin SMS ic" That does not look right. There should be more than one line printed on the top of that IC.Never stop learning
