    Samsung un32eh5000fxza no power

Have a samsung that will not power up. I get no standby light or nothing. Main caps on ps read 163v, and connector cnm803 I get no readings on any of the pins, need to know where to start looking thanks.

This PSU has no PFC booster. 163V is correct at the main cap. I would check the diodes around the main cap.

Did it just die by itself or something happen and then it went out?

Check the DCV BETWEEN the two legs of the startup cap CM806. You MUST BE REAL CAREFUL since you will be working int he deadly primary side of the circuit so I hope you know what the precaution you MUST take when working in the primary side.

I am getting 10v to 11vdc on cm806, the person I got the tv from says they just went in one day, and it wasn't working. I get no readings on any of the connectors on the power supply

so problem is in either the feedback or in the primary section. First I would look hard on these square blue caps in the primary. Take them out and measure those.

10~11VDC may be too low for the SMPS IC to start. Can you look at the P/N of that 8-pin SMD IC in that section where the cap is?'
You can also try heating up that cap to see the STBY power supply will startup, or you can just replace the cap.

Replaced the cap, still getting same readings, also checked blue caps and I get 118v on both. Pn is s3310343 on the 8 pin SMS ic. Everything seems to be fine on hot side, but nothing on the cold side, what connects the two?

"Pn is s3310343 on the 8 pin SMS ic" That does not look right. There should be more than one line printed on the top of that IC.

S3310 is on the top then 343 is the second line, if I am looking at the right chip

ICM801 is the designator for that SMPS IC.
S3310 looks to be the correct P/N.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                                        Assuming...

                                        Hi all!

I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅

I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

                                        Hi all,

TL;DR - this laptop is driving me nuts with the oddball power-related behaviors. Appreciate any insight you can provide!

I'm experiencing a power issue on an Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74. Although I've worked with electronics and computers for decades, this is my first attempt at getting into motherboard-level component troubleshooting. Any help the community can provide is greatly appreciated!

A few weeks ago I was using the laptop (on battery power) for a Zoom meeting. The battery was running very low (long meeting) but I wasn't worried about...

                                        Hi

Picked up another TV. Samsung UN43NU6950FXZA. No power and no standBy led on. Removed back cover and:
                                        Main fuse = OK
Back light LED = OK. Power them with aux power source
                                        LED output = OK 156V
I do get 12 V DC out of the power supply going to the digital section but no 5V or 3.3V. PS_on voltage is only 1.8V. I have looked everywhere on the PCB , I could not find i reference for 5V output.
Also removed connections to panel, speakers and remote but no luck. One strange thing is that even with the LED power supply working, backlight LED do not turn on...

Samsung TV won't turn on ... keeps cycling the power relay on & off

                                        Hi All,
First time posting here ... my name is Kevin but my friends call me Journey.
I have a Samsung 75" LCD model UN75RU8000FXZA that I don't remember the original fault other than it wouldn't power up anymore.
After it sat for many month's I decide to look at it again. The motherboard seemed to have power regulation issues. After much fussing I decided to just get a new MB.
It came a few days ago and I installed it now just cycles the power relay on and off ... when on the backlights light up and then dim and then relay kicks off and the whole things starts again....
