    Thermal expansion due to heating and cooling can over a long period of time causes hairline cracks in the soldered joint resulting in an intermittent connection or even a burn up which is what you have , all you need to do is re solder the transformers pins with some fresh solder to prevent this happening again.

      Well the power supply fixed the TV and now I have a working 4K TV for 29.00
