I will try to get a picture posted. The boards are barely visible, and I've never posted an image to a forum before

Board in question is probably the T-Con board. To post a photo: when you reply to a post, select "manage attachments" under the "Additional Options" section.

I haven't tried removing these yet. I want to make sure I can get them replaced before I venture into that

I have the same tv. My tv powers on my backlight but no picture.
          1,2 is 5.13
          3,4,5 gnd
          6,7 11.8
          8,9 3.2
          11-14 2.7
Voltages indicate everythings fine with the power board if I am reading correctly.

Do you have 12Vdc at both ends of the SMD fuse on the T-CON board with ref. to the chassis GND?

water damage... that sux... problem is you just can't switch out that board, because it is tab bonded to the panel.

Good on spotting that i missed it the first time i glanced at the pictures but as you say fluid damage usually un fixable requires a new lcd.

I sat on my computer, not on my tablet, so I was actually able to see something.

Installed a used pcb/main board. It took care of my issue.

I have the same tv that will not turn on. When I looked at the power board I found part ic901 had the corner chipped off ? Cant read the actual # on the part cause of the chip missing. Does anyone know what part this is ? Could it cause the tv to not power on ?

Good evening and pardon me for jumping on this thread. Since the pictures are already here I thought I would ask a question someone may know the answer to. I'm having a heck of a time finding a schematic. Connection CN103 (4pin on right above main a/c plug) on the power supply is connected to connection JP3 (4pin just above speaker connector) on the main board. Can anyone tell me what this circuit is on the main board that is being provided power to? Is it the audio circuit?

                                Thank you in advance.

That 18V connector is for supplying the Voltage to run TI chip UA3 Class D amplifier.

Firstly, apologies for reviving an old thread. That said? I wanted to specifically thank you. I had the same issue with the same set that recently came into my possession. Standby voltage only, all others 0V.

I'm personally grateful you outlined the order of operation. It allowed me to avoid erroneously ordering a power board and instead a main board. $22 fix, the previously dead TV sprung to life.

I was given a set because it "wouldn't come on". The model no is E550i-A0e.

When I checked the power board, I had 0vdc on pin 8 (remote on/off). I replaced the main board (3655-0642-0150). Got it for less than $20 of ebay.

Not bad for a $20 TV.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                                        Assuming...

I have wanting to do this project for quite sometime now and I finally found a switching power supply that will work on this desoldering gun station ZD-915 that the original switching power supply took a shit and just was not worth trying to fix it because this switching power is not quite big enough to handle the heater element and the vacuum pump

One note when I tested the switching power supply and the voltage control board I noticed that this desoldering gun heat up much faster than the original switching power supply which I was really surprised by to the point that I might buy...

I have been working on this concept for quite some time now with limited success but recently I found a switching power supply that is setup for the voltage that this soldering station needs to operate at however it also needs part of the secondary circuit from the original switching power because you need several voltage rails

I once tried to get a ZD-915 desoldering station to work on a 18 volt battery power supply but unfortunately things did not go well but I did find a work around but I might try this idea again but going at a little differently more about this another time...

Definitive technology SC 2000 subwoofer amp's power supply clicking and popping
                                        by JimBanville
The sub developed a constant popping every couple seconds from woofer and power LED flickering with nothing but wall AC connected. Connecting an audio cable didn't change anything. It doesn't play but a second or two of audio in between the pops.
Opened it up and discovered the power supply is making a faint clicking or ticking sound.
I measured the amp's output to the woofer and it pulses up to 50mv DC to be driver. The pulses coincide with the power supply ticking/clicking.
I measured the power supply output going to the amp board and it too has this pulsing. Voltage cycles...

Power supply Manson NTP-5561 (5661) LCD controller dead - PIC18F87K90 HEX dump required

                                        Hello!

i got a damaged Manson NTP-5561 (60V, 1,6A DC output) and and the main issue is that the controler IC for the LCD display has a short. The controler IC PIC18F87K90 is mounted on the back of the back of the LCD. Vss-Vdd = 3 Ohm. The 5V and 3,3V power line was killed as well, but that is not a problem. A new LDO 3,3V and 5V 7805 is already ordered.
Replacing the PIC18F87K90 is necessary but that makes no sense without having the HEX dump of the new controler.

Does anybody have such a power supply and could do a HEX dump of the Flash and EEPROM memory?
