I wouldn't think with big dead band like that will cause by T-CON or Main board, it is so hard to be 100% sure.

The only thing that is throwing me off is that the band is one colour and horizontal. That means the source drivers of the panel are working, and it rules out the gate drivers as they can't discriminate single colours. But, it's possible that some signal between the T-con and the drivers is causing a malformed image, this could be a panel fault if the fault was a short on one of the drivers or something like that.Please do not PM me with questions! There is also a slight "shearing" of the picture on the top section, going towards the bottom left, starting at the top right. Or is this just an artifact of the screen refresh timing and camera timing?Muh-soggy-kneeComment

Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!
My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.
This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen... -
I have a older eddy current tester made by Olympus that uses interchangeable TFT-LCD screens. I have two devices that each take the same removable screens. One is an Olympus NORTEC 200D+ and the other is an Olympus SONIC 1200M EMI. I have searched the internet high and low for service manuals for these units with no luck. Both these units were used extensively by the US military for NDT on airplanes. The detachable screen plugs into the base unit via a weird non standard VGA connector. Hi,
I have a iphone XS that came in for a screen replacement, the screen was badly cracked, and inside missing scues, on the back of the screen still the blue protector, the screen was a LCD. So we replaced the screen and all good, installed the screen and we noticed that pressing the screen with a bit of force but not excessive, the phone dies. After plugging the charger it turns back on, but again if you press it it dies. I open the phone again, and I can't see anything major, with the phone open, if I press on the logic board, battery, charging board, or even putting pressure on... -
I have this laptop: charging light is on when connected to the charger, when I push the power button you can hear the fans spinning for a three seconds, the keyboard backlight it turning on, the caps lock key is unresponsive, no image on screen. Only a couple of times it booted with image for a few seconds and then reboots to black screen. When it is frozen with black screen and lit keyboard, I can keep pressed the power button to shut it completely.
