VIZIO VOJ320F1A INVERTER voltage regulator fried.

got 2 of these VOJ320F1A tv's and was able to diagnose by process of elimination that one of them had a bad Inverter. after looking at the inverter, i noticed one of the voltage regulators is badly burned.

what are the odds that just replacing this voltage regulator will fix this inverter?
i could only find one seller on ebay with the regulator and they want 5$ for it.
    the replacement inverter is 35$
i looked on digikey but i couldnt find the regulator.
is it just not there, or am i searching wrong?

    numbers on the inverter: 4h+v2258.131
    numbers on the regulator: p1504edg

also i cant seem to find a service manual for this TV

    thanks for any help!

thanks man. hey is there a chart somewhere that has pictures of all the different components and what they are called so i dont go calling fets regulators anymore?

...and this isnt a site i can buy one from is it?

and will i have to replace the capacitor next to it?

There is no chart in the sense, you need to look up the P/N to find out what they are.
I would check resistance of all pins against GND to see if they show low resistance. You also need to check the one next to it since the MOSFETs are set up as a bridge drive, plus check the inverter transformers also. The caps should also be replaced.
Something burnt out this bad you may be better off with new board.

Vizio E55-E1 bad backlights or bad inverter?

I just got this tv today and it appeared to have no backlight on. After taking off the rear cover and checking again in the dark I can see that MAYBE one quadrant is lit.. But still it's quite dim. I was going to check the LEDs with my tester, and I found LED 1 and LED 2 + pins on the wire from the inverter, but I couldn't identify a ground. Nonetheless I tried using a mounting screw on the inverter board and also the chassis as ground but regardless my tester reads 300 which is what it reads when there is no voltage draw.

I don't know how exactly to test the inverter itself. Is it...

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

            Assuming...

            Hi.

picked up another TV. This time is a Vizio M65-C1. TV does not turn on. I had repaired another 60 inch vizio , Bad main board.
When power button is pressed, the Power led indicator on the bottom right, turns for a few seconds and then it fades away. No backlight or Vizio logo on screen. Removed back cover and repeated test.
This is the TV This TV is a little different from the Samsung I have worked on. Power supply is on the Left side, Main Bd is on the right side, T-CON , not in the picture is on the bottom. I am assuming that the boards in the middle are the LED...
