Hello, I have a Samsung Ln52A650A1F and I'm not sure what could be the issue with this, The picture is only bad at bottom of screen but stretches across the whole screen but seems really bad on lower right side seems blurry red. I have tried resetting all cables from the Tcon still no luck. Any ideas or is this just a non fix TV/panel ?

Could be water liquid damage even someone cleaning with cleaning fluid - it runs down and
corrodes/shorts the wiring at the bottom of the panel. Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

The SAMSUNG/SONY in those time periods are know for having tab bonding issue.
This is what involved in dealing with tab bond problem.

Re: Samsung Ln52A650A1Fxza bad picture botton of screen
No luck on the top tabs, rubbed my finger across them and I didn't notice any change, but when I rubbed my finger across the lower tab or whatever that's called on the bottom right side where the problem is i did see it flicker/change but not enough to correct the problem. so is it safe to safe the TV panel is beyond repair or did I not check the top tabs correctly?
this is the lil tab on the bottom right sideComment

Re: Samsung Ln52A650A1Fxza bad picture botton of screen
That looks just like a tab bonding issue I had on a Sony. It took me some time and a few tries to actually find the problem tab, so don't give up. Sometimes you have to apply pressure to the tab while turning the TV off and back on to fix it, but you should notice some flickering or change when you find the problem tab.Comment

I agree with AFajitas. Sometimes you have to turn power off and then on to see if the problem is corrected. Don't rub the tab. Apply pressure carefully. Find the magic spot. I have fixed sets with 4 horizontal bands on the screen doing it this way. If the timing signals get messed up, you have to cycle power to the set. I have had better success with hard vinyl bumpers, about 1/8 inch thick and then use the screws on the screen frame to apply pressure for that tab. Stick them to the frame, not the tab or the screen.
I usually leave the set on the base and tilt it backwards by placing a 2 x 4 piece of wood under the front of the base so the screen does not slide onto the floor. This makes it easier than laying the set flat on its back. Fastest time to find the magic spot was under 10 seconds. The longest was several days. And some just don't want to be fixed.Comment

by MgiffuneI have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.
I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and... -
Have a Samsung UN50NU7400 which shows a boot screen and a screen saver if left on long enough but no picture ?
Would a moving screen saver confirm that the panel is ok or it could still be a panel issue ? -
by TR103Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:

- when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

by ChrissygizmoHi , I've recently replaced the screen in my Samsung galaxy ao2s, at first it wouldn't even turn on, it had the charging symbol on the screen when plugged in but the green circle wasn't going around to show it charging....
Ive eventually managed to get it on and working but it's very temperamental...
The battery icon always reads as 50% , when the phone goes into lock screen mode i sometimes can't get the screen back on unless I plug the charger in to get it to light up, also it keeps putting the camera app on.. u think it could be something to do with the side buttons. ...05-26-2024, 12:05 AM -
by JJAAMMThis was my main TV for the last 6 years. I'm not inclined to throw out a $2600 TV so quickly so I'm trying to investigate the issue.
Problem
TV was disconnected from power for 6 months during construction. When I plugged it yesterday picture was fine, after 30 seconds it dimmed then started developing horizontal lines, picture then starts to ghost vertically until it degrades into vertical streaks. TV always displays a perfect picture when cold. I can unplug TV for 5 minutes and plug it back in and picture is restored for 20 seconds. I can also keep it in standby mode... - Loading...
