May be the flux is covering up the pins, try applying the solder to the legs and check again, but it sounds like you have found the problem.
You can remove that suspect transformer and test it again.

Soldered the legs again but still it gives me nothing. Unfortunately removing the transformer did not solve the problem either.

What should i look to do now? Replace inverter board/transformer? Is it possible to purchase just the transformer from somewhere? I've already bought a main board when i jumped the gun a bit so i'm hesitant on spending too much more.

I think budm meant when you removed the faulty tranformer to check the readings on it whilst removed from the board (this is what i always do too)

You need to retest the transformer off the board, if it still shows open connection then you will need to replace it. The inverter board will not function if not all good transformers are installed, the protection circuit will kick in, same if it has one bad lamp or open lamp connection, it will shutdown.

I already gave you links of possible places to buy a board or a single transformer
just check as your transformers appear to have different numbers 6025B or 6026B If you intend to keep the set for a while a whole board may be the better option then you have spares. If one transformer has given up others may follow.

So after discovering the transformer was indeed faulty after re-measuring after detachment from the board i purchased a new inverter board but the problem persists.

Thanks for the links mate, opted for the whole board for the reason you suggested above. Although, unfortunately it didn't solve the problem.

well maybe try a tcon, hopefully you didnt buy a faulty inverter.

Have you tested the transformers windings like you did on the old board? Is the new board a exact match (numbers on stickers etc).
