I'm looking at a Vizio E41I-A2 where the V logo is stuck on the screen. Any ideas? Thanks for any help with this.

Re: Vizio - E41I-A2 Vizio Logo Stuck on Screen
Can we see the whole back side of the TV so we can see all the boards? There are more than 2 boards in that TV.Never stop learning

Re: Vizio - E41I-A2 Vizio Logo Stuck on Screen
I would start by testing the power supply voltages at the plugs/cables going out to the other boards, do you have a digital multimeter? be careful when working with power supply, HIGH VOLTAGE, on primary side, can be deadly.Last edited by nomoresonys; 01-16-2015, 09:32 AM.Comment

Re: Vizio - E41I-A2 Vizio Logo Stuck on Screen
From my expereance with these newer vizio/JVC LED panels is mainboard failure. Doesn't look like this model has an EEPROM that can be swapped out.
I had a 2012 Vizio Made JVC that I got that did the same thing yours is doing the JVC logo would pop up and then the panel would shut down completely.
After a few hours of troubleshooting and the TV coming on perfectly fine with the back off, I found that one of the speaker wires had been smashed in-between the back shell and the wall mount braces, this came like this from the factory (great QA eh!) so I cut the damaged part of the wires soldered the 2 wires back together did a little shrink tubing and turned the panel on and is still working perfectly.
I would check all your connections and possible look for any kinked or smashed wiring inside the panel.Comment

Try disconnecting the left connector to see if the power light stays on white.
if not, then try disconnecting the LVDS cable (flat white cable) between the main board and the LCD panel and see what happen.

Flashing power indicator sounds like main board problem.Never stop learning

Re: Vizio - E41I-A2 Vizio Logo Stuck on Screen
see the connector on the left side of power supply?, turn the tv on and check them in dc voltage, see the writing next to it, legend, labeled 1 thru 14, you should get those voltages or very close to it, with everything hooked up, again be careful what you touch on power supply, if you have any voltages that dont match the legend, report it, number and voltage.Comment

by spice_discI'm currently trying to diagnose and fix my Vizio TV (Model M50-C1). I've tried a number of different basic solutions, but I'm trying to determine if my issue is currently a failing panel, T-Con board, or main board (or something else entirely) and whether or not it is worth my time to fix it. Details of the issue and what I've tried are below as well as why I think it is either a bad panel, T-Con board, or main board.
The Issue: The TV will be on and working fine but after the TV is on for ~5-10 minutes the screen will freeze (with sound continuing) until the TV reboots itself. While...1 Photo -
by paulxxxxThe TV stuck at logo and cannot be turned off unless the cord is unplugged.
I was given two main boards and exactly the the same thing happens to both of them.
I have checked all voltages on the connector on the power board that goes into the main board and they all look OK.
There are no signs of damage on any of the 3 boards.
Would someone help me with a pointer to the manual? It's supposedly to be the same as E601i-A3.
Thanks! -
by abajorHaving this very weird issue.
The owner of this laptop complained about screen being intermittent when opening and closing, and has been using the laptop on a thunderbolt video connection since the screen failed.
I swapped with a working screen from an A2141 waiting for parts.
The Os exhibits this weird behavior where it boots to to 1/3 the status bar, then it makes the boop sound. It's at the log in but for whatever reason the desktop isn't loaded.
The laptop boots fine into recovery mode. I updated from Monterey to Sonoma and the laptop still has... -
by G33RTPhilips 8200 series 65PUS8204/12 stuck at Philips Logo, it does not reboot it just stays on the logo.
It does power up when pressing the power button.
I already try the power button while plugin the plug with no result.
Also put the latest firmware autorun-TPM191E_R.001.004.100.000.upg on a MBR/FAT32 USB stick at USB port2 with no result either.
Could this be an PSU or eMMC issue ? -
by x_orange90_xI just got this tv today and it's getting stuck on the wallpaper. When I first power it on it goes to the V logo, then a black screen for about 15 seconds, then a Chromecast error for just a few seconds, and then finally to a wallpaper. It stays frozen on this wallpaper and does not respond to anything on the remote besides power on/off. Likewise the buttons on the tv do nothing either (besides power). I did the "reset" by holding the volume down and input buttons together for 10 seconds. It showed a message at the top of the screen saying it was Wiping Data and would restart soon. After...
