I got the solder to melt.... I needed to reset the Hako unit & was fine. Thanks for the replies.

Can't Melt Solder on Power Board
I am changing a bunch of capacitors on a power board in my 47pfl7403d/f7 & cannot budge any solder. I've tried adding new solder with no luck. My Hako iron is at 750. Thanks for any help. -

I work on tv's off & on & have repaired about 100 TVs over the years. I opened up the back of a Philips 47pfl7403d/f7 and saw that the large 150uf at 450 wv was totally expanded and blown wide.
I'm just curious if any of you have seen this often.? I don't see any any other blown capacitors but I may change some of them in their surrounding area. Also do you think there is any other issues I should check out before I order parts? Thank you

I unplugged the power board from the main board & the light blinking & clicking stops.
I post questions here pretty often. I want to say.. if I cannnot repair a tv (including this one) and someone here helps me through it. I will send you $20 via paypal... check or money order.Leave a comment:

I plugged it in & the V logo appears for a couple seconds & the screen goes off. The power light (white) turns off & on after the screen goes off.
