Re: LG47LC7DF power supply issue- pics and some voltages

So if I unhook the connector P201 then take the on/off wire out of the connector, then plug it back in, the red light on the front will light up. If I measure the voltage on the wire I removed from the connector after hitting the on button it will read 2.3 volts, after several minutes it will go to 3.3 volts on its own. Then if I push the wire back into the connector, it will turn the tv on and it all works great. Shut the tv off with the power button and then it goes back to the beginning of the problem again?

What is responsible for regulating the voltage going to the on/off pin? Unfortunately my dsl has been down so I have to try to read the schematics on my cell phone, it's hard for me to trace.

    Thanks again.

The on/off signal from the main board is done through a transistor that is turned on and off
      <1V on the ON/OFF pin = OFF
      >2.50V on the ON/OFF pin = ON
It is not regulated Voltage, as long as it is <1V (it can move up and down from 0~1V it will be OFF, same if the ON signal is >2.5V (it can be varied up and down but as long as it more than 2.5V that will be consider ON.
You can put the resistor may be 4.7K on that ON/OFF WIRE and Ground from the main board and monitor the DC voltage on that resistor when TV is off and when power switch is activated to see if it can handle 4.7K Ohm load.
