T-Con FS_HBC2LV2.4 vs 400WHC8LV1.3

Have this 400WHC8LV1.3 T-con board and I'm pretty sure it's bad.

Have also a working FS_HBC2LV2.4 and was wondering if they are interchangeable. Same connectors, same pitch, same distance between connectors but the board format is completely different.

Too risky trying?

They both seem to be from/for Samsung. Even though one came from a 40" Visionquest and the other from a 32" Sony (I think)

"Too risky trying?" Yes. You need to look up the spec sheet of both LCD panels to get the pin out of the boards, the Voltage and current requirement, etc.

Well I can confirm, they are NOT compatible. Since the TV isn't worth buying a new T-Con I tried it out anyway. The TV turns on but backlight remains off. Without the T-Con backlight works...

So much for THIS test. :-D
