Technika 22" TV screen goes blank after 2 seconds

My Technika 22" x22/14c-gb-tcd-uk TV has a problem.

While the TV is on standby if I press the power button the standby light turns from red to orange while it starts up then green as the screen comes on after 2 seconds the screen goes blank and the light remains green.

I have checked the capacitors in on the power supply and they all seam fine so what do you recommend me to check as I really can't think what it is

If you could get back to me it would be really helpful

It'll be the CCFL tubes in the display-panel 10-1....

Yes well I could have guessed that but I dont want someone normally working with 110v
to tell him to set his meter on 200vAC further down the thread.
It could also be a transformer out on the inverter board or the crap capxon caps thereon.

I've updated it I live in the UK and how would i go about fixing these CCFL tubes then?

can you upload pictures of the boards used in your tv ive fixed a set like this a while ago it was the inverter transformer at fault once we see what parts are used we can get you to carry out some tests etc have you got a multi meter?

The TV was fixed by soldering to joint between the CCFL tube and the wire.

I have the same TV with what looks like the same issues. Could you still see a faint dark picture when the TV was switched on?

I have Dav83's tv here with me now, this one had the same issue but the lamp was cracked so I used another set of lamps that I had laying around and the tv came right back to life. I will upload a youtube video of the repair.
