Right I have a Technika x22/14b-gb-tcd-uk HDTV that I am trying to connect to my computer as a primary Monitor I already have a Technika x22/14c-gw-tcd-UK which is a slightly different model that works great as a monitor but I want the other HDTV to work too.
The HDTV is not detecting the computer which is connected via hdmi as it keeps saying no signal on the TV and the HDTV does't show up in device manager on the computer so I am thinking that the HDTV isn't compatible with my computer or something as I have tried it on my old computer and works fine and have also used different hdmi...

I had something similar with one of my TV's I think it may be a short on one of the ccfl tubes (Back light) or a shorted back light led(Back light) depending on the type of back light it has.

My Samsung ue32f5000ak has had a blank screen but had sound and i have got to the point where i have found the problem which was a faulty LED on the LED strip for the back lighting but i was wondering if I bridge the connection of the led so it doesnt use the LED would it cause any additional damage? or should i just wait and order an led? -

need advice TV back lighting
on my Samsung ue32f5000ak i have found out that one of my LEDs are broken on the led strip for the back lighting and I was wondering if i bridge the led so it doesnt use it woukd it causse a =ny problems? -

I have tried connecting the TV to another device and it works fine as I used to use it as a secondary monitor on my old computer and I'm running windows 8.1 when I click win + p I select extend and it does nothing as you can see in the image below the screen is not being picked up at all the generic pnp monitor is my primary monitor...Last edited by YeOldeGinge; 08-31-2015, 04:58 PM.Leave a comment:

Right I have just measured the VSC and it starts at 170+V and slowly decreases voltage i am just waiting for the bored to discharge so that i can check the q801 and q802Leave a comment:

Right for VS it was between 200V to 215V and I measured 206V and for VA it was between 60V to 66V and I measured 63V.
