    Hinasie 50K360G

I have a Hinasie No picture Just backlight
T-con has 12v disconnect the right side ribbon cable that goes from the T-con into the panel
Half Picture with video with connected blanks video.it seems like a short.
Don't know if T-con is bad or the panel itself.
    Thanks

Have you tried both T-Con cables one at a time? What I ended up doing was taking a piece of tape, and covering a few of the contacts on the ribbon cable, and plugging the cable back in.The whole picture was perfect, except for a vertical line on the far left, and a horizontal line along the very bottom.Mine had a crack in the screen on the lower left corner,so the lines could have been because of the crack.

I hope this helps. Please let me know.Thank You very much!

I have seen this same model Hisense 50K360G with a blank screen with the backlight on for sale. I very curious about this model. this could be a bad T-CON board.

I pick up a 50 Hisense 50K360G with a blank screen, the owner claim the screen just when blank while watching it. I remove the back cover, and doing a visual inspection of all board found nothing.

Power up the TV and confirm the problem, back light turn on and the screen was blank. I was able to get sound using the HDMI port.

Checking the T-CON board, the fuse wasn't blown and +12 volts was present. This T-con board have electronics components on both, very rare to me. Checking voltages on the T-CON regulators all was good.

So I remove the framing around the LCD screen, this is what I found. see picture. This is one of the flat ribbon cable going to the LCD screen. I'm going to attempt to fix this using very thin wire wish me luck !!

after further review, this can't be repaired, so I'm gotta scrap this unit and sale the parts online.

Hense this is the reason why I like plasmas better lol. I just picked up one of these for free last night same exact problem same symptom same burn in the ribbon cable. Absolute garbage but I'm surprised if panel was made by AUO! it appears that there's some kind of rubbing action going on where the ribbon cable meets the metal frame and it rubs through a section of the cable.
Did I leave the soldering iron on?
