This has A strange Problem No eject when plugged in if you plug it in 3times works Normally acts up when you unplug unit say 30min hit power or eject
I dont know if the dvd driver board is defective or the power supply has bad caps I seen some posts where you hold power button and unplug Nothing works
Unit Will Work normaly if you replug 3 to 5 times im repairing it for someone so they are not going to like this

ok i did lower the backlights setting to dark in the menu setting it stopped so that means backlight strips are bad? -

This TV has the video flashing
When no signal is there or hdmi is connected it flashes
if i remove the attenna it says no signal backight is steady so i dont think the backight strips are bad.sounds like a main board.

Hello, I have an intermittent problem plays all day shut off turn on the next day will play 4 hours then just sound black screen no picture.
I have resoldered all boards inside the tv Y-main resoldered plus the main coils that cause problems.kind of lost on this one.

i know the rca 65inch you pull the back right off panel face down this one not sure.most panels i worked on the bezel comes off the front.

Sent a board to PTS they said it had a burnt trace.
I have repaired boards with burnt traces before.with a wire.
what is your opinion.I just think they are lazy and don't want to fool with it.
they are sending it back to me.think i will give it a shot.

Q702 keeps blowing up on me replaced the componants that were discussed
on here.I don't see anything shorted but POW flash of light.q702 is blown to bits.
The Transistors on the heat sinks do not short out.

I'm asking for helpful advise if you don't want to help then don't.
It would be nice if the fault component was found then that would help anyone that ran into this problem.The boards i have are junk and have major problems by lightning so those are trash.
If I can't find the answer I will just have it replaced.
