budm are you going to look at the schematic you provided?
because it doesn't show too much of an actual part number?

here are the numbers printed on the parts

    Pc803s - NEC 2561 WK727

rm801- RESISTOR 4 color bands gold, silver, red, red

    cy803s - DA 102M DIC

    cm810 - B 222K 1KV

    cm801 - B H25 FQPF 9N50C
    cm802 - B H25 FQPF 9N50C

Re: samsung LN-T3253H no picture red standby light

Yes, its the value of the component as printed on the body.
I.E. resistor RM801 in the SCH is 0.22 Ohm 1W Fusible resistor (FR)
      CY803 is the safety cap (x/y type) 0.001uf 400V X/Y safety cap.
      CM810 is 2.2nF (0.0022uF) 1KV Ceramic cap
CM801 is 0.0033uF 100V, is this damaged by the glue?
CM802 is 0.47uF 25V, is this damaged by the glue?
      PC803 Opto couple NEC P/N PS2561

Can you please post the pictures of these parts?

        budm

cm801 & cm802 are the same mosfets with the same part numbers
what you listed looks like capacitors

I will post pics in a few minutes

CM801, 802 are the cap as shown in the SCH. May be you mean QM801, 802 in the SCh which are MOSFET FQPF9N50C.
The cap DA102M does not look like it is damaged, check and see if it shows any leakage resistance.

                You are right budm

                Qm801
                QN802

                These are the correct designations

Cap DA102M reads "OFL" when I set my meter to ohms

CY803 cap is fine, the TV will still function without that cap installed.

I would order them and use them just in case. You should also order this cap which is a commonly failed cap CM808 (BLUE RECTANGULAR CAP). 0.022uF 1.25KV.

                            the tv works

I was worried at first for a few reasons

i forgot to order the opto couple but luckily it wasn't shorted
when i was installing the resistor part of the trace lifted when i pusted the lead legs of the resistor through the hole. once i soldered it in it was still kind of lifted from the board but the tv works perfectly
and i was so in hurry to install the components i forgot to install the "commonly failed cap CM808 (BLUE RECTANGULAR CAP). 0.022uF 1.25KV" that you suggested me to replace.
so now i have a spare

thanks Budm for all the help

now on to the next tv for repair

                              Hi,
I am also having this problem with the same power supply board in the same television. There is no picture when plugged in, the red light blinks intermittently, and the bottom blue ambient light also flashes. There is no sound from the speakers. Also, I can hear a humming/high pitch noise coming from something on the board as if trying to start but failing. I have already replaced the 7 capacitors on the cold side with Rubycon ones with no luck. I'm currently in the process of cleaning up all the yellow glue and finding other failed components. I've taken some pictures of the other components that might need to be replaced. The black circular thing, not sure what it is, labeled 'NT8119' has corrosion under the glue that I removed. The other thing that may be replaced is the CM810 cap which also was corroded under the glue. Are there any other components that I should be inspecting? Also, to anybody who owns this tv, could you please tell me the size and length of the 15 housing screws, and the 4 screws for the power supply? I received this TV sans screws.

Sorry, Im not sure how to edit posts on here, but the black component should be NT811S, not NT8119.

I just picked up one of these as well. Opened the TV to find the glue all dissolved on several parts as well. No exploded parts or scorch marks like jose6326 though.

Going to start with replacing resistor RM801 and capacitor CM810 as above and then take it from there.

So why do they put glue on so many parts on this particular board? I have not seen such issues on other Samsung boards aside from bulging inferior caps.

Do the glues serve a purpose when the soldered leads should be enough to keep the part in place?

The glue is used to keep the parts in place during the wave soldering phase, and also for holding parts in place during transportation, but unluckily they use bad glue.
