So just picked up this lnt3242h and it powers on but no backlight and no picture. I have 24v going to the inverter. I checked the fuses on the inverter and the F3 fuse has 24v coming from power supply and .413v on the other side. How do I know what kind of fuse to get. It's the little one with the D on it.

Re: Help identifying fuse
Too bad there is no standard as far as the letter as printed on the fuse which suppose to represent the current rating.
You can put your meter in DCA mode and to take the current draw reading but I would check the the resistance on the output side of the fuse to see if it shows really low resistance first.Never stop learning

Re: Help identifying fuse
So I just got the fuse in. And it looks the same style and has the D on it but it's much larger. Now on te pad it has mini pads for the small size fuse but the bigger pads on both sides for a bigger one I suppose. It looks like I can solder this new one to the bigger pads but is that ok or do I need to order the exact same fuse. Take a look at the pict. The bigger fuse next to the smaller one

Re: Help identifying fuse
And that's the thing I don't know what size the origonal one was. So it's real hard to fine the rating of the fuse. The one I have now is size 2410. I thing the origonal one is like a 0603. Cause when I looked it up on mousers website that was the only rating for the fuse with the letter D in that size so I don't know if it changes when they change sizes

Re: Help identifying fuse
www.servicemanuals.net says they have a service manual for that unit but it'll cost you $16.99 to download it.
