    beko 32WLZ530HID backlight flashing/flickering

hoping for some help with this one, its psu has the inverter built into,
ipos150b-rev 3.2. Beyond replacing obvious bad caps i havent really done much component level diagnosing, hoping to learn

Anyway the tv switches on, then the back light flicks on then off at about 1-2 sec intervals very consistantly as though being switch on off.

measuring voltage over the main cap on the board its stable at standby, but when switched on raises to 257v then switches to 290v at 1-2sec intervals. It does this with or without the backlights plugged so i dont think the backlights themselves are the issue.
was thinking maybe the main cap bad but would it really switch that consistantly? thanks for any help,
have included some pictures of the psu

the voltage on the large filter cap when turned on is way to low,it should be reading around 380VDC,which it may have lost its capacitance,a quick check with an ESR meter can rule it out at least.

its most probably running out of tolarance and barely firing up the psu,

or there could be a shorted diode on the output side.

re-soldering the inverter transformers will do good as well,(can be a cause of flickering)

thanks for trying to help, unfortunately i dont have an esr meter(i really should invest in one), i can find two normal diodes at d23 and 24 test ok using diode function on meter. theres a zener diode at z6 next the blue cap that im unsure as it gives a reading both ways, need to remove from circuit to check? and what i think is a 3 leg diode at d6 that im also unsure about, also need to remove from circuit?
      thanks

im not looking to rebuild a rocket/space station/nuclear warhead, lol
will they suffice for general testing on consumer electronics?
i tinker with t.v.dvd,xbox,ps3 etc thanks

new main cap fitted, voltage is now steady 390v across it but the problem with the back lights switching on an off is still there

Elitebooks (820, 840 etc. all gens) and those continuously flashing Power LED + flashing CapsLock LED
                  by STKR123
As the Elitebooks (820, 840 all gens) only show flashing Power LED and flashing CapsLock (continuously) + a very soft "ticking" noise near the DC Jack,
I wonder if re-flashing the BIOS might be of any use here.

As far as I understood, steady flashing either means insufficient power or a CPU/GPU/Motherboard issue. I use the original 65watt power supply.

There are so many threads out there, but most of the solutions involve flashing codes, which I dont have or claim that you MUST use the original power supply, do a hard reset, reseat the RAM, clean the RAM,...

                  D48-D0 flickering/flashing at a very constant rate
                  by bscottjohnston
I have a D48-D0 that works on all counts except the backlights flash at a constant frequency of about 3-4 times a second. I used the Voltage measurements as seen in this thread (https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...ure-new-boards) to compare mine.

With CN301 unplugged with set on I have about 90VDC
With CN301 plugged in of course the V varies based on the flickering

These pins have 1.86 VDC not the 3.3 as shown here:

ACER BM320 Monitor - Horizonal Flickering Lines After a While
                  by reessi
                  Hello,

The monitor started off showing flickering thin (1 pixel) lines horizontally every say 3mm..

They are black on the right and gradually fade to nothing on the far left.
They start either after 5 mins or up to 2 hours after so annoying for testing.
They flicker continuously very fast! With a slight pause milli-second every second.

Initially I cleaned the LVDS cable and connected to the T-Con and then it worked fine for 3 weeks but not sure if this was just co-incidence.

I tested each half by removing the first the left flex from...

                  Hello Community!

                  CASE DETAILS

Promblem Signs: Backlight on 1 sec off 7sec > repeat && Red standby light: 1blink, off 3 sec, 2 blinks, off 5 secs, 2 blinks, off 3 sec, restart cycle

13V present on powerboard output. Backlight continues flashing after removing cables to pannel one at a time and even with both disconnected. NOTE: backlight STOPs flashing and remains on when connector between powerboard and mainboard (note Tcon built in) is disconnected.

Tried inserting firmware on USB and left it in for a few hours, but no change

                  samsung flashing/flickering/strobing
                  by zuehls
I have Samsung UN55ES6150 TS01 tv that has a backlight that flashes/flickers/strobes. I have disconnected the cable between main board and power supply and the backlight stops flashing/flickering/strobing. I checked the voltage on power supply (BN44-00503a) CNL802 pin 4 (R-) and pin 6 (l+) and both are 141v each. It is also steady. If I reattach the cable between main board and power supply and plug in the tv it is steady and good at 141v for about 5-7 seconds and then the screen starts flickering/flashing/strobing and the voltage starts bouncing between 138-142. What is correct voltages on CNL802?...
