    D48-D0 flickering/flashing at a very constant rate

I have a D48-D0 that works on all counts except the backlights flash at a constant frequency of about 3-4 times a second. I used the Voltage measurements as seen in this thread (https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...ure-new-boards) to compare mine.

With CN301 unplugged with set on I have about 90VDC
With CN301 plugged in of course the V varies based on the flickering

These pins have 1.86 VDC not the 3.3 as shown here:
    CN201: PWM5: Pin 14: 3.3VDC
    CN201: PWM4: Pin 13: 3.3VDC
    CN201: PWM3: Pin 12: 3.3VDC
    CN201: PWM2: Pin 11: 3.3VDC
    CN201: PWM1: Pin 10: 3.3VDC

I took each of the high V leads out of CN301 one at a time and the flickering never stopped. I think the problem is likely on the power supply. Another indication is a slight burn mark on the corner of the board. When I turn the board over I find what looks like Q303. I haven't done a lot of board level work since I was in the Navy 30 years ago. Can anyone tell me what Q303 is? I can't find the schematic for this PS online anywhere for a reference. Any pro's in here who have fixed this before?

These power supplies are $16 plus shipping on Shop Jimmy. Just shotgun the PS?

If you have to have parts shipped to you, then may as well just get a whole replacement board, see if that one is a match for you: https://www.ebay.com/itm/38460069767...Bk9SR-zboviJYw

Got new part - did nothing to change the problem. I hate throwing money at this stuff. I could do the main board next but with my luck it will be fine too. I've seen "fixes" on YouTube for this before that suggest settings are going to do the trick. I am very leery of that kind of "repair"

With the new board, what voltages do you get on CN201, pins 7 and 8, if you can check them in standby, and when you hit power button, what are the voltages and do they change/toggle when you go from standby to power up? and make sure all your connectors are in place.

Pins 7&8 are zero Volts at off/standby

              Pin 7 = 3.25 VDC on
              Pin 8 = 3.3 VDC on

Checking all the connectors here in a few after this next meeting

ACER BM320 Monitor - Horizonal Flickering Lines After a While
                  by reessi
                  Hello,

The monitor started off showing flickering thin (1 pixel) lines horizontally every say 3mm..

They are black on the right and gradually fade to nothing on the far left.
They start either after 5 mins or up to 2 hours after so annoying for testing.
They flicker continuously very fast! With a slight pause milli-second every second.

Initially I cleaned the LVDS cable and connected to the T-Con and then it worked fine for 3 weeks but not sure if this was just co-incidence.

I tested each half by removing the first the left flex from...

Fixing an I-Inc IF281D for the 3rd time, now with added flickering!

Hello everybody! It's been nine years and I'm back again with the same monitor that several people here helped me fix back then. The first time, I replaced two caps as was recommended here and the original problem was solved. Then it started acting up a few years later and I came back for a parts list and replaced a few more caps (I didn't make a post about that and don't remember which ones), and again the problem was solved. This time, however, I'm not sure if it's caps.

The monitor stays on but certain colors will flicker. Generally it's darker colors like dark greys or dark blues,...

LG 55uh661v flickering images and lines

Hi, I have this tv a LG 55UH661V that show flickering images and lines. I tried to take off one at time the right and the left ribbon cable and put the tape for ask the pin…but nothing working. Or I stop to have picture or still flickering. Someone can help me to understand what pin I have to mask? What I notice the buffering board, the flat cable becomes very hot, I don’t think it s normal, I’m talking about the orange flat cable soldering on the buffering board, both side are very hot. I give you the photo with both the ribbon cable on and a photo with the right off and with the lefts...

Cutting the jumper on Samsung TV to solve the flickering
                  by Adenitz
                  Hello to all,
I have just seen this YT video about solving flickering issue on SAMSUNG TV. Reading many comments it seems this works.
But I wonder what is done here and how this solved the issue. I'm not able to find the schematics so cannot explain to myself.
Few years ago I had a flickering problem on one monitor in some factory which I managed to solve by inserting UPS between monitor and power outlet. I also notice on this occasion the flickering was gone if I put insulation tape on the power plug like shown in the attached picture to remove connection with the PE conductor...
