    Re: Logik l32digb20

This is the problem flocko one minute the backlight will flash constantly or only one flash then goes into standby seems to have a mind of its own
i can use the side button to turn on the tv on but once the backlights stop flashing you cant use it,instead you have to turn the tv off and on

so go ahead and order these ? im collecting the resistors later tom

If you get resistors from Maplin, may as well wait before ordering the LDOs.

Yes will be easy to power up the inverter you can do it at the plug to the Av you dont have to do Pson as you can still power on the side buttons, just BLon and Dim on the 4 wire plug of the Av to jump with the resistors to 5V standby, and see if it work the inverter, if it does then it the av board

I would jumper the PSON too because I suspect main board could be causing the problem. Not sure though.

              Re: Logik l32digb20

OK, so first lets get PSON working.

              - Disconnect the connector between main board and power board, on the main board end.
              - Connect the resistor between the 5V STB and PSON pins. (Poking the pins in the connect holes works best.)

At this point, once you plug TV in, you should get 24V and other voltages. You should not get any backlight.

              Are the voltages steady?

                    OK, now unplug set.

For the connector going to the inverter, you want to leave that plugged in. But, you want to run one resistor between 5V main to BL ON and one from 5V main to DIM. (Order doesn't matter; BL ON and DIM are the green and brown wires.)

Now, when you plug set in backlight should come on and stay on. No picture will appear. Screen will either be black or white. Does it flicker?

YES - Power board or inverter board or bulb panel arc - need to do further tests

                    NO - Main board

                              24V measure OK still?
Note: it'd be a good idea to unplug connector for blon/dim from the main board.

i did say unplug the 4 wire connector from the Av. Ok now to prove only BL on and Dim from main board defective, if you go back to the start pull the resistor out off PS on and plug that back in main board but leave the BL on and dim connected to the resistors and 5v but unplugged from Av, you should now be able to turn on the set on from the side buttons or remote and get backlight

I'm currently diagnosing a MacBook Pro A1707 motherboard that does not power on. I've gathered some data but am stuck and need expert advice.
Note that i'm a beginner in electronics and i'm trying to learn while trying to repair this macbook that my work gave me. I'm really curious and love understanding how thing works and i already learned so much.

Only one usb c port is taking 20v and have 12.5v on PPBUS_G3H. when trying other ports, 2 are not going to 20v and one is going to 20v but the CD3215 is getting really hot.

Hello everyone, I have a constantly blinking Inexive LED TV.
                                            Display is: VES390UNVA-2D-N01
                                            Mainboard: 17MB97
                                            PSU: 17IPS71

The TV power led start blinking constantly right after plugging it in, I tried to update via USB but did not help....

Wine Chiller - SMPS issue - fluctuating voltages
                                            by beetle1303
My wine chiller, TECNO SW-126LCD, is semi-functional - it powers up, can set temperature, and chilled to the set temperature, and cuts off compressor, etc. It however runs very hot.

Upon taken out the PSU and did some basic check - 5V output to LCD panel buttons and display is stable, but there is no 12V output to LED lights, and fans.

Further checks found the secondary side voltage is fluctuating around 8-15V range, but the 7805 regulator seems ok and producing the stable 5V output.

Checking further on the primary side: Incoming line input to bridge...

                                            Hi

                                            board model: NM-D992

type c remains on 5v. when i connect it the 3.3VALW and 5VALW fluctuating. can someone please help understand why?
                                            main power rail voltage 13v

                                            till now i have tried:
measured all coils resistance looks ok
replaced RT6585CGQW to a brand new one
replaced all mosfets for 3.3v regulator and the dual mosfet for 5v regulator
happen both on DC power and on battery
                                            issue remains
