SO GUYS.... I was finally able to remove everything. I'm a bit surprised.
1) I only see LEDs on each side of the TV. Nowhere else. Nothing in the center... Is that expected? Or do I still need to remove more?
2) ALL LEDS ARE WORKING. At first. Then they go off block by block.
So do I have a LED problem...OR NOT?
BTW: I also attached a lower resolution version (30%).Leave a comment:

It wasn't on the sofa. It was on the ground. However, I put a soft gym mat under it. It didn't cover the entire panel, so I was able to move it around as needed. I'm thinking maybe it happened while I turned it every now and then... Just a theory.,Leave a comment:

was the sitting surface really flat? maybe the valley between sofa elements... hoping that remounting it is barely noticeable..Leave a comment:

I see. You mean flat. That's how it was over the weekend and those air bubbles emerged all of a sudden. Weird right...

Please.. 8000x6000 pics are way too much.. my pc goes nuts.. scale down them..
i can only view the reduced versions.. obviously this is a model with front covering glass with flat surface finish that inglobates speakers.. the way you put it on the sofa is wrong, must be front faced down.. so it doesnt unglue the real LCD.. actually front piece is maybe plastic and lcd is havier weight glassLeave a comment:

this is look like air between the LCD and the front glass. .. don't bother with it right now. complete the access to LED stripsLeave a comment:

Those holes are just placeholders for the speakers beneath. I had uploaded pics of my TV but here someone else's set where you can see what it looks like from the front. (Pic 1)
And I have circled the area with the panel issue. The glass is not broken or anything. It's somehow beneath the coating. Really not sure how it happened and what it is? (Pic 2)Leave a comment:

What am I looking at. What are these holes on the black thing?
And where is picture of panel damage. If you effed the screen I wouldn't proceed no. I would still break it down to the LEDs and have a look and then put it all back together again as some practice. Do it as if you didn't damage the panel so you can learn.

Happy Easter guys!
I was able to remove the frame from the back of the TV. My TV is a bit different though. I couldn't even use the suction cups. I simply took out the entire back out of the frame. Tomorrow I will get down to the LEDs. But I plugged in the TV and indeed half of the screen turned dark. So it's confirmed!
It's not all good news though. No idea when and how but I did some harm to the top of the panel.
No idea what the real world implications are going to be. I guess the i-Manual will give me an idea what I can expect from the TV from now on. I'll definitely assemble everything back and have a look.
Looks bad guys, right? I know I messed up but I still want to buy the LEDs. Should I go ahead?Leave a comment:

by maudaI'm currently working on repairing a malfunctioning Sony TV model KD-65XE7005 with the mainboard 1-981-926-21. I would appreciate your assistance with this issue.
Upon powering on the TV, the Sony logo appears for approximately 3 seconds, after which the backlight remains lit, the screen remains black, and nothing else happens. The TV consumes around 55W initially and then drops to 35W. The indicator LED remains solid white. It doesn't respond to the remote control. When attempting to update the TV using a USB dongle, the dongle briefly flashes but nothing else happens.

by chaos-theoryI have a really weird problem, this motherboard was working normally, someday it just started and all fans were running but didn't want to post, tried resetting bios, checking CPU and it was getting warm tried external gpu, flashed bios with programmer, but same problem.
Next day after several attempts the board goes into protection mode, no more staying on, I turn on the PSU fans starts directly turning, it used to not start until I press the pwr button, now it starts directly and fans spins, and shuts off after 3 seconds sometimes less, then won't start again unless I unplug the PSU and... -
by solveit68Hello together,
I am hoping for some tips here to repair a notebook.
The notebook has following issue:
After starting the notebook it shut down after a few seconds.
Sometimes it is possible to enter the bios but then after, another few seconds it shuts down also.
The time until shutdown varies slightly.
What I've tried so far:
- cmos cleared
- removed all components that are not essential for motherboard testing including keyboard and touchpad
- ram exchanged
- same behaviour with power supply or battery... -
by doejohn11Hello guys. I have a legion 5 17ach6h with Ryzen 7 5600h and RTX3060.
It was working perfectly fine but the cpu was overheating so i decided to replace thermal paste. I bought one from local hardware store and replcaed. it looked fine then the fan started to spin at the full speed after about 1 minute and then immediately shut off after 10 seconds. Then I though if i have done something wrong, so i cleaned up everything with IPA and put new thermal paste. but the issue was still there. After that, I came across this article where he had similar issue and he was able to solve it by replacing... -
by IamPriteshSo I have this Sony VJF152C11N ( Board Number : DA0HKDMB6D0 ) which came to me with no charging issue. The Charging IC was getting hot so replaced it.
ISL88732 replaced with ISL88731 and also the lower mosfet PQ59 ( NTTFS4C10NTAG ) with a similar N channel mosfet. Now the Charging is fine with 15.7 on BAT+ line but the new problem is that laptop boots till sony logo and then shuts down when battery is connected ( With or without AC adapter )
What could be causing this is a non compatible IC or FET or poor soldering or some kind of shorting? - Loading...
