Let him press the MENU button with the remote control and see if the local backlight changes or not!

Man, the TV with out signal..... ( MO SIGNAL ) sign will show on the top left of the screen.,, this strip are lighting more... this is the local dimming process.. after he put the screen in place and fed it with signal then yours theory will be checked if there issue with lighting.

1- the strips LEDs unit went blue color cause of burned the surface of them..( we don't need to explain the chemistry of LED )
2- the first filter also effected with some burn from the LEDs surface. ( this need to try clean them how much u can with out damage the coating )
3- from the photo you upload for LED driver boards there are much brown area happened via heat ( over load ),, until now we cant say this boards got issue or not.... as the reason was the strips
also you are now removing the reason with new strips then you can go back to others points if there are an issue.
so step by step repair called
Hi, I finally got the LEDs. I attached them. So far the TV doesn't turn off! (I tested for 15 minutes. Never lasted this long with the old ones)
    So far so good BUT:

Please take a look at the new pic. One strip has far more light output than the other 3 strips as you can see from the attached picture. Any ideas why? I wanted to do the reassembly now but not sure....

edit: It's actually not the entire strip. Only the outer half. Towards the edge.

OK understood. I will pay close attention when gluing the pieces together. Thank you!

Can you have a look at the pic I uploaded? This is from the other side. I haven't touched that side yet. As you can see there is a gap where the two filters meet and blue light shines though. It was already like that. Is that going to be a problem? It's exactly in the middle of the top of the TV

I was also able to remove the other filters now without any problem! Nothing else broke. I was worried about the broken parts, but I will buy a UV-Kleber and put them together.
So if I understand you correctly it doesn't need to be 100%. Just have the filters at place. Right?

BTW: Strips are on the way now. 4 days in transit. I think it will be here sooner than I thought.

    Thank you for assisting me!

ignore such things which bothering you...

1- to remove the strips you need to push the strips at socket forward so the clips which hold it will be in the wide area so you can pull them.... install should be opposite things see the photo
    2. to avoid the other side filter from any damage.. because it may burned and stitched to LEDs surface... spray the whole with alcohol over night so it will move easy.... the one which break... try start to clean it how much you can

Ok, this is probably the end, but i want to repeat the move to dismantling the screen without checking well the led control board is definitely a rookie move.. as you can see led strips are not normal led strips (in series), leds are driven individually, so some leds not lit could be because of bad driver board.. this is not a professional way, this is a very well build tv set, sad seeing it go to landfill

I can't. The filter is in the way. I tried to carefully remove it. Result is above. It breaks very easily.

Sony TV model KD-65XE7005 - only Sony logo for 3 seconds
    by mauda
I'm currently working on repairing a malfunctioning Sony TV model KD-65XE7005 with the mainboard 1-981-926-21. I would appreciate your assistance with this issue.

Upon powering on the TV, the Sony logo appears for approximately 3 seconds, after which the backlight remains lit, the screen remains black, and nothing else happens. The TV consumes around 55W initially and then drops to 35W. The indicator LED remains solid white. It doesn't respond to the remote control. When attempting to update the TV using a USB dongle, the dongle briefly flashes but nothing else happens.

I have a really weird problem, this motherboard was working normally, someday it just started and all fans were running but didn't want to post, tried resetting bios, checking CPU and it was getting warm tried external gpu, flashed bios with programmer, but same problem.
Next day after several attempts the board goes into protection mode, no more staying on, I turn on the PSU fans starts directly turning, it used to not start until I press the pwr button, now it starts directly and fans spins, and shuts off after 3 seconds sometimes less, then won't start again unless I unplug the PSU and...

Lenovo L580 20LW-0010GE shuts down after a few seconds

    Hello together,

I am hoping for some tips here to repair a notebook.

    The notebook has following issue:
After starting the notebook it shut down after a few seconds.
Sometimes it is possible to enter the bios but then after, another few seconds it shuts down also.
The time until shutdown varies slightly.

    What I've tried so far:
    - cmos cleared
    - removed all components that are not essential for motherboard testing including keyboard and touchpad
    - ram exchanged
    - same behaviour with power supply or battery...

Lenovo Legion 5 17ach6h shuts off after 70 seconds.
    by doejohn11
    Hello guys. I have a legion 5 17ach6h with Ryzen 7 5600h and RTX3060.
It was working perfectly fine but the cpu was overheating so i decided to replace thermal paste. I bought one from local hardware store and replcaed. it looked fine then the fan started to spin at the full speed after about 1 minute and then immediately shut off after 10 seconds. Then I though if i have done something wrong, so i cleaned up everything with IPA and put new thermal paste. but the issue was still there. After that, I came across this article where he had similar issue and he was able to solve it by replacing...

Sony VJF152C11N DA0HKDMB6D0 shuts down in 1 min
    by IamPritesh
So I have this Sony VJF152C11N ( Board Number : DA0HKDMB6D0 ) which came to me with no charging issue. The Charging IC was getting hot so replaced it.

ISL88732 replaced with ISL88731 and also the lower mosfet PQ59 ( NTTFS4C10NTAG ) with a similar N channel mosfet. Now the Charging is fine with 15.7 on BAT+ line but the new problem is that laptop boots till sony logo and then shuts down when battery is connected ( With or without AC adapter )

What could be causing this is a non compatible IC or FET or poor soldering or some kind of shorting?
