Be very careful replacing it, those things have usually 450 volts and that can KILL a bear.

Oops- I just started putting back together the Samsung I was working on- model LN-T2353H A, and I forgot to mark where one of the connectors goes. And there are two sockets for this one and it fits in both! I'm usually a much better technician than this but I thought I'd remember which one it goes in. Pics attached- if anybody can let me know which one the connector should fit into I'd much appreciate it.

most of the pins (24v & gnd) are the same except for the backlight control pins 11~14. check on the back of the inverter board to see the pin labels. I would think if placed on the wrong plug, the backlight would not come on but I doubt there would be any damage as those are only control lines.
I suspect it should connect to CN803 (plug nearest to the edge of the board)

Just look at the pin out of the Inverter board connector to locate the BL_ON pin then match it up with the connector of the power supply board.
You can see that the two connectors of the power supply board does not have BL-ON pin at the same location and also as shown on the schematic.

Samsung BN44-00262A H37F1-9SS power supply help finding blown value components!
            by cheeky2
This Samsung combined power supply and inverter was replaced a while ago from a Samsung 37inch LE37B530P7W TV. However I would like to repair this one.
I have replaced the Mosfets Q1820 and Q1821 ( FDPF7N50U) which were both blown and the fuse FM802S. The schematic for this power supply that is attached doesn't relate to this power supply as the driving transistors and diodes are D1830, D1831, D1832, D1833, Q1811 & Q1810 are nowhere on the schematic!
Does anyone know what the components for D1830, D1831, D1832, D1833, Q1811 & Q1810 should be? I ask as I did change the Mosfets...

Desoldering gun station modified to use a 18 volt @ 20 amp switching power supply
            by sam_sam_sam
I have wanting to do this project for quite sometime now and I finally found a switching power supply that will work on this desoldering gun station ZD-915 that the original switching power supply took a shit and just was not worth trying to fix it because this switching power is not quite big enough to handle the heater element and the vacuum pump

One note when I tested the switching power supply and the voltage control board I noticed that this desoldering gun heat up much faster than the original switching power supply which I was really surprised by to the point that I might buy...

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
            by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

            Assuming...

Samsung UN75J6300AFXZA LCD TV Power Supply Troubleshooting
            by MtnManMike
            Hello,

I'm hoping to get some help figuring out how to troubleshoot this power supply board. The television is a Samsung UN75J6300AFXZA, version no. UH03. The power supply board has two model numbers on it, L75S1 and BN44-00723C. As far as experience level, I'm familiar with recapping boards in terms of safely going through the soldering motions, choosing suitable replacement parts, and so forth, but as far as understanding the various functions of each part of these TV power supply boards, I am a rank beginner.

When I plug the TV in, the screen flashes on and off and...
