      Re: Logik LOG32lw782

check all your +v pins to cold ground, you want to be seeing hundreds of kohm,a few ohms will indicate a short on that rail.

ive had those 2 diodes just to the right on that big yellow transformer(the ones with the metal support upstands) fail a couple of times, maybee worth a check, just pull one leg and diode test them
fixed so far...376 lg lcd tv's,24 onn tv;s,24 panasonic lcd,16 jvc lcd,12 marshall jcm800 amps, refurb of various disco equipment lighting, old style disco decks ,and a flymo!

You have pressed the little side on/off button right? Without that, standby light is OFF.

a toshiba regza caught me out on that one!,large switch to the left, but standby button on the other side of the tv!!,it worked when i pressed it

it most likely wouldnt have when they filled them with crappy oem boards further on..

did you pull one leg of each diode and test and read both ways??part number of the diodes?

use the diode test on yr dmm, forward voltage should be around 0.19v thats at 5.26ma test voltage

and they are shottky diodes,so you will have a little reverse when testing

forward voltage read nothing reverse nothing again not sure if i am doing it right, could be that they are shorted

diode is the one before 200 ohms try testing them on that setting

if your getting that when reversing probes, your diodes are open,00.0 on ohm setting will indicate a dead short

when i try on ohms i get 1 reverse it and get 1.98ohms

About a month ago we had a transformer jumper wire that burned in two different places between two transformers caused over $200 thousand dollars worth of damage to VFD drives at least 10 of them and a memory card and quite a few power supply as well

Now we have most of the equipment that got damaged back up and running except a feeder that has issues and we are waiting for some parts for

Now we also have another piece of equipment that was blowing fuses on the 110 volt controller switch circuit with the ā€œEā€ stops and one switching power (24 volt) supply and a transformer...

Hello I have a Marantz sr5012 that I have been repairing. After I have replaced the 2 main filter caps the 2 fuses for the power amplifier blows. The original capacitors are ELNA LAO 10,000uF 71V and the replacements are Nichicon LKS 10,000uF 80V.
I assume a short circuit connection has occurred so I set my multimeter to measure ohms across the 2 fuse connections and both read 55 Kilo-ohms so I assume that is ok.

I am certain that I do not have any bridges on my soldering and after probing around I do find a temporary 0 ohm reading when probing across the positive and negative...

HH Scott Model A510 Stereo Integrated Amplifier/ Graphic EQ - Blowing fuses in the LEFT speaker channel only. Any Help???

So like the title says, I have an old Stereo Receiver/Amplifier that I picked up from the goodwill, it's a HH Scott Model A510. When I first got it home it had zero output. Opened it up, notice the fuses are missing. Pop in 2 new fuses (AGC4A 250V) and try again, within 5 seconds the L channel fuse POP! I don't see any visible indications of damage or arc burns on the PCB, no popped resistors or diodes, no burnt traces or blown out caps. So I decide to just try another new fuse, POP. Swapped around my R and L speaker wires, and checked the integrity of all wires and connections. Everything looks...

Blown fuses on Gigabyte GTX 980TI 6GB
                                            by MrzPdlch
                                            Hey everyone,

I just went ahead and unscrewed a faulty GTX 980 TI from Gigabyte. What I found beneath the cooler was, as it seems, a common issue of that card. Two blown fuses on the bottom right corner of the card next to a MOSFET.
Now my question would be if there is any schematics of that card available to figure out which are the blown components so I can try and replace them together with the mosfet if needed.

Find some pictures of the actual GPU together with a picture of how it should look like.
I also wonder whther it might be a problem that there...
