A few do, but they are the only ones who stand to lose money from shipping costs because they unknowingly or knowingly sold junk, hence the policy and why I don't worry about buying from ebay. It is a pain if you very rarely run into that situation because it does take a little time to get another replacement but the crooks are not getting away with anything and they soon realize it and give up if they have any sense at all.

I understand everything, but there are people who don’t even know what they are selling and whether it works or not; they found a TV on the street, dismantled it for parts and put it up for sale...

Lots of people knock ebay but like I said the VAST majority of people are honest. And if you have a doubt about a seller that's what feedback is for, and their policy does favor the buyer but it almost has to, hence sellers should always pay for insurance, they are not a HUGE company for no reason, their policy works and I never sweat buying from ebay. They did make a big mistake by excluding sellers from paypal but that's not relevent for buyers.

There's quite frankly a whole lot of people here and everywhere, that jump to conclusions and are buying boards to replace boards that are not even bad, they'll buy one board when it's really another board that's bad, then they think they have two bad boards when both may be just fine or it's no board at all but the lousy panel or a backlight connection or some weird short in a wire. Then they think they bought a bad board but it's something else wrong, that's where testing comes in. It's really best these days to buy boards in sets, sj and a lot of others didn't start selling sets for no reason. It saves a lot of trouble with compatibility, specially when a lot of the buyers are just novices trying to fix their tv and don't have time or the inclination to dive deep into electronic repair.

Look how many people, even on this forum, buy boards, motherboards, power supplies, t-con boards, and when installed on their TV, the fault remains the same...
I'm not saying that everyone is a scammer, but there are also cases where you're lucky.
It’s just that there is no guarantee on used boards, today it works and tomorrow it works, and after three days you turn on the TV, but it doesn’t turn on, since this board has already served its purpose.

Was speaking to THIS, where you basically call everyone a crook, I've bought hundreds of boards from ebay and as far as I recall, only received one bad tcon, which was refunded on the spot, that's who's selling things on ebay U.S.

Doesn't matter, if buyer says it was bad, they get a refund, PERIOD. A seller with any sense insures the board.

So, maybe you burned it during connection... and or damaged it during transportation and delivery, and the seller will prove that everything worked for him, there’s no way to prove it.

You evidently don't know how ebay works, if you are sold a bad board, you get ALL your money back, so the vast majority of seller are NOT selling bad boards on purpose. Plus most people are honest, at least where I come from.

That one is a little cheaper but not much of a warranty: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2334524.m570.l1313&_nkw= 756TXICB02K040&_sacat=0&_odkw=+905TXJSA550005&_osa cat=0&_sop=15

Yep, that's a match, all the serials that sj lists will work and both these bar code numbers 756TXICB02K040 or 905TXJSA550005, they are interchangeable.

Mine is LTMWYILV which looks to be the most expensive and hardest to find 🙄 I did find the following that according to SJ is compatible:

It makes me so paranoid when there's SPECIFIC model boards but many models used for a single tv. In the case of this tv I've found there are two physically different boards, one having less ribbon connectors than the other.

So there's nothing that can be done without removing the eMMC and reprogramming? I don't have the hardware for this so I imagine a new board is my only hope in getting this tv working again.

Vizio E701i-A3 stuck at logo, need service manual
    by paulxxxx
The TV stuck at logo and cannot be turned off unless the cord is unplugged.
I was given two main boards and exactly the the same thing happens to both of them.
I have checked all voltages on the connector on the power board that goes into the main board and they all look OK.
There are no signs of damage on any of the 3 boards.

Would someone help me with a pointer to the manual? It's supposedly to be the same as E601i-A3.

    Thanks!

Philips 8200 series 65PUS8204/12 stuck at Philips Logo, it does not reboot it just stays on the logo.

It does power up when pressing the power button.

I already try the power button while plugin the plug with no result.
Also put the latest firmware autorun-TPM191E_R.001.004.100.000.upg on a MBR/FAT32 USB stick at USB port2 with no result either.

Could this be an PSU or eMMC issue ?

Vizio M65-C1 | Logo appears for 10 seconds then off
    by Bob1394
I have used the search, and am stumped.

My Vizio M65-C1, Vizio logo appears for about 10 seconds then goes off.Power LED blinks 15 times then the TV powers down.

I have read through many threads on the M65-C1 including the following threads. I feel like I must be looking right past the solution to my problem:

JVC LT-50N795 Stuck on Wisdom Share Logo
    by justice171
    Hi everyone,

I'm working on a JVC TV for a client that's stuck on the "Wisdom Share" logo screen.

It's a model LT-50N795 with a board number TP.HV510.PC822. I attempted a firmware update via USB, and while the upgrade was completed successfully, the TV is still stuck on the Wisdom Share screen on reboot.

Has anyone encountered this issue before, or does anyone have any suggestions on possible solutions?

    Thanks in advance!

Vizio E701i-A3 Vizio logo flashing then turns off
    by Super360
Ok so here's the story. I was watching tv one day when all of a sudden I heard a pop from the back of the tv set and rushed to unplug the set. By this time the tv already had smoke coming out the back. It was not storming or inclement weather that day to cause a power surge to the best of my abilities. When I opened the tv up, I found that the three capacitors on the psu (highlighted in red) were all bulging and looked they had exploded. I replaced all of them right away and when I went to start up the tv after the "fix" it started just showing the flashing vizio logo as soon as power...
