    Hisense 50K360G LED LCD With Half The Picture

    I have a Hisense 50K360G LED LCD TV that will turn on to a glowing/dark screen with sound,but no picture.I can change channels,ETC.If I unplug the T-Con ribbon cable on one side,I will get half a picture.Th other ribbon cable doesn't change anything.I have tried two different T-Con boards,and one other mainboard,and no change.The is a small crack in the lower corner of the screen on the same side that the ribbon cable I unplugged to get the half picture. Could the crack in the screen be creating a short and causing the whole picture to go out?Any help is greatly appreciated.Thank You very much!

      Sorry to say, but you will need new LCD panel, the TFT Drive ICs LCD panel flexible PCB are more likely to be damaged.

          T-con suspect issue. Both ribbon cables no picture. One ribbon cable ok. (58pus8545)

          Hi guys! I realized you have a lot of knowledge here so i am hoping you could point me in right direction with my odd issue.

          The Tv is a Philips 58PUS8545/12, it had no picture but working backlights.

          Original T-con:
          Opened the Tv and tested to unplug one ribbon cable at a time. With this test i could see that i got fine picture on both halves as long as there was only one ribbon cable connected, with two connected picture were gone.

          First replacement T-con:

          I thought it might be t-con and ordered new t-con from china(supposedly tested)...

          Hello all ~

          Hope this finds you well. This LG 82UN8570AUD (April 2021 model) 4K UHD television has full audio capabilities but video is compromised / problematic.

          When I picked up this large LG tv it had a full black screen upon startup. Previous owner said it just went black one day. No popping sound or anything else of note.

          I got the display to work by taping off several traces of the right-hand side ribbon cable on the TCON that leads from TCON to PANEL. However, despite dozens and dozens of attempts to find the right combination / range of traces taped...

          as above shows coloured lines then slowly goes down and repairs the picture on start up if been on for a while then turned off its fine anyone had this...

          This TV turns on you see the Android logo it loads goes to home screen will stay on the home screen for about 30 seconds to a minute roughly and then clicks the relay on the PSU and shuts off.

          It's a q LED and I've tested the LEDs to the best of my ability using the ribbons and an LED tester and they are all 22 volts on all three channels of the ribbon. I do know LEDs failing and cause this issue. I don't think it's this but maybe.

          Have disconnected 3/4 on both sides of the ribbon and one half on each side of the ribbon and the entire panel itself. And it does the same...

          Quick repair summary for those interested. I had a Hisense 58R6E3 TV that had backlights working but no picture. T-Con had 12V supply but some of the supplies on the board were 0V. Unplugging one of flat cables to the LCD display driver boards brought the supplies back up, so I figured it was a short on the LCD panel driver board. Narrowed the short down to the 15V power supply by checking the coils on the T-Con board to ground with a diode test and confirmed that all the MLCC caps on that rail all showed a short to ground. I injected 5V/1A into the 15V rail on the driver board (T-Con disconnected)...
