Well I replaced the f3 fuse with the link you provided johnboy1313 and I am getting a voltage reading of 5.3 on either side of the fuse and the tv is behaving in the same manner with the same symptoms.

Well, that's a step in the right direction. Are you sure you got all of the connectors plugged back in?

I'm currently not at home to double check but I am almost positive that I connected everything back up.

Ok made it home and checked the connects to make sure they were all secure and they are. One thing I did notice though was after looking at Budm pictures of his fix his board has a ground wire that mine does not, would that make the difference?

            bleed4me,
I just replied to your last personal message with a few tips on how to make sure your solder joint was proper since you may possibly have a good top solder connection but bad lower solder joint and still get 5 volts on both sides of the fuse but not actually have the 5 volts run through the board.
Lastly I recently fixed one of these a few weeks ago and may have a prospective buyer in a few days on it. However I still have it in the shop for the next few days at least so if you have any questions on voltage reading on certain parts of the main board, or certain readings on components let me know asap before I don't have the ability to double check for you.

Just curious but I know low voltage readings on a power supply board can cause issues, so could a higher voltage reading cause an issue as well? Here are the voltage readings off the power supply board as well as the main board.

What do you mean by PIN 4?
You need to report in this format: for example
                    CN5:
                    Pin 1 (PS-ON) = xxxx V
                    PIN 2 (12V) = xxx V
                    PIN 3 (12V) = xxx V

Can I see the pictures of the inverter board?
BTW, these must be your erro in the readings:
                        CN3:
                        PIN 11 A=1.3
                        PIN 12 B=0
                        PIN 13 C=0

                        CN5:
                        PIN 12 A =5.4
                        PIN 13 B=1.2
                        PIN 14 C=0

Pin A on CN3 is directly connected to Pin A of CN5.
Pin B on CN3 is directly connected to Pin B of CN5.
Pin C on CN3 is directly connected to Pin C of CN5.

So there is no way you can have different readings between the CN3 and CN 5.

Here are the inverters, hopefully the pics turn out. As soon as I get home I will revisit those voltages and report back. Thank you.

So far you readings look to be OK.
So you have MASTER/SLAVE Inverter setup.
Are the fuse on both inverters OK?

Had a chance to revisit the voltages and you are absolutely right Budm, there was an error

                              C3
                              A=1.42
                              B=.03
                              C=0

                              C5
                              A=1.42
                              B=.03
                              C-0

Thank you for catching that. I checked the fuses on the master and slave inverter and they appear just fine

Correction, one of them only show 0.03V? for sure?
If I remember it correctly, 'A' is for the BL-ON, and 'B' is for Dimming control.
Pin 12 on the MASTER Inverter is the BL-ON, you can check on that pin to make sure the signal does get to the inverter board.

Budm I just checked and rechecked then checked again it is indeed .03 and funny you mention pin 12 on the master because I was checking on this earlier and that voltage is 0. The voltages for the both master and slave are as followed

                                    Master CN1
                                    14 lamp st =0
                                    13 vbr_b=1.3
                                    12 on/off=0
                                    11 vbr_a=
                                    10 gnd=0
                                    9 gnd=0
                                    8 gnd=0
                                    7 gnd0
                                    6 gnd=0
                                    5 vin=25
                                    4 vin=25
                                    3 vin=25
                                    2 vin=25
                                    1 vin=25

fuse shows continuity and has a voltage of 25.2 on both sides

                                    Slave CN101
                                    1 VIN=25.5
                                    2 VIN=25.5
                                    3 VIN=25.5
                                    4 VIN=25.4
                                    5 VIN=25.4
                                    6 GND=0
                                    7 GND=0
                                    8 GND=0
                                    9 GND=0
                                    10 GND=0
                                    11 NC=0
                                    12 NC=0

fuse shows continuity and has a voltage of 25.5 on both sides

OK, that is why the backlights are not ON, you still do not have BL-ON signal from the main board.
So 'B' is the BL-ON pin on the power supply board.

Next step will be to check all the DCV on all 3 pins of the 1117 series LDO regulator ICs on the main board to see if they are all OK OR NOT.

Are you referring to pin 1 on the main board that gives the signal to BL-ON on the power supply board?

Hi I inherited a Vizio M65-E0 that isn't working. It must have been dropped on the corner because I found that the infrared circuit had a capacitor with one end broken off of the board and some green corrosion around the plug to the main board. I re-soldered the capacitor and cleaned the corrosion well and tried turning the M65-E0 on and I was successful. My problem is that while the back lights come on and appear to perform local dimming there is no picture or sound. It kind of looks like you are looking at the TV through a very dense fog, where changing the input on the remote will change bright...

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                                            Assuming...

Samsung TV model UE50TU: rebooting, backlight, sound, but no picture
                                            by TR103
                                            Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
                                            - sound and backlight, but no picture
                                            - when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds
                                            - it keeps rebooting
                                            - without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
                                            - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
                                            - when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

                                            - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel and with a jumpered...

Samsung UN60EH6000F Black Screen, Backlight and Sound Good. Power Cycle Returns Picture

I have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.

I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and

Samsung UE60KU6079 backlight okay mainboard responsive, no picture, no sound

                                            Hello everyone,
Ive got a UE60KU6079 on the workbench that is giving me some headaches trying to troubleshoot.
The previous owner stated that there had been white dots on the screen which from the description sounded like some lenses fell of the backlight LEDs.
He had opened the TV from the back, trying to get to the backlight, supposedly gave up, reassebled everything and gave the TV to me.
I expected the worst like ripped COF cables or a cracked panel but could not find anything like that yet.
Anyway I still fully expect that there has been something seriously damaged...
