cant find firmware update for usb...may not be one?

any other thoughts....

tv will turn off and on with the remote

tried it with different sources -
tried the button board
no other buttons work
sound?
please tell us all the tests you have done
cant waste time dragging it out of you

I'd be thinking corrupted firmware at a guess. Will it go into service menu?

just power button on side works cant get into service mode...unless im doing the wrong sevice mode....can i ground out the eprom?....how would i do a flash?...nothing plugged into tv just stuck on screen

Nope, you will need to replace the EEPROM, many sellers have them $15~$25 each. (Rip off price, but nothing you can do about it... yet.)

i had a eeprom programer many years ago when i did pinball repair..copied chips..but must have a good one...so can i buy a pre programed eeprom for this model?..where would i get it?
