Well got a sanyo...plug it in and got blue light then one flash of the leds...then blue light out....did get a power supply and a main board from ebay..still nothing same thing..is it possible got one string of leds out and it will not respond because of that?...hate to take the front apart to see...looks like from the power supply i got 8 strings of leds...can i disconnect it and add some battery power to each strand to see if a strand is out...what voltage?...i got no codes from the tv...may have got bad boards from ebay just dont know..

just power button on side works cant get into service mode...unless im doing the wrong sevice mode....can i ground out the eprom?....how would i do a flash?...nothing plugged into tv just stuck on screen

WOW The Secret LG Factory Reset and The Secret Hotel Mode
To enter Installation menu from the remote control, you need:
Choose any TV channel (it might not work if other input is selected)
Press and hold MENU button on the remote control until TV's menu appears, disappears and channel info appears.
Quickly release MENU button, enter 1105 and press OK.
If your remote control has no MENU button, use HOME button instead.

ok that got it up...looks good..but only working by remote...if you use the buttons on the side it says key lock...did go into menu turned off key lock ...but still says key lock when you use the side buttons...any factory reset?

will shut down on its own in 25 seconds then blinks then comes back on by itself....then you must unplug it to get it off...seems to have different pattern
everytime...screen seams to go white slowly on its own

Hi guys question on buffer board
got a 50" samsung plasma tv
tv comes on no picture
found 1 bad chip on the upper buffer board (fried)
even if i unplug this upper buffer board should i have a picture on the lower half of tv?
i dont.....
lower buffer board has no shorts to ground asumming its good
could my y board be bad? any way to check it?
if i just order the bad upper board and replace it would it be Fried from the y board if it was bad?

got all voltages...tv on no picture but stays on..
disconected the x y boards no change in VE 14.4V SHOULD BE 97V
when tv is off VE is 0V.... tv on 14v with no load always 14v
could icx805 be at cause in line to VE output? cn809 and cn810 out
main board is turning on VE
