Hi, i have problem with Panasonic LCD TV, when pluged in there is no picture just red LED blink 3 times. I think it's a faulty PSU.

I upload the picture of power suply board, on output i got 5V and 1.1V, all other pin are 0.

Re: Panasonic TX-37LX85P blink 3 times

The A Board 3 blinks SOS is built around a circuit shown on page 49, see AG_SOS. If one of the resistors in that area is burnt out the A Board may mis-detect a fault and do the 3 blinks.

I remove the burned resistor, and mark it on picture. How can i find it on TV manual scheme. There is no designation on resistor. I look under page 49, but can't understand the markings.

Re: Panasonic TX-37LX85P blink 3 times

Clutching at straws here but you can see TP1028 in your pic. If you open the manual pdf and search for TP1028
it comes to page 50 of 70 If you pan to the right past c1020 16v 0.1 - check if that is the value of the round blob on your picture? (Clearer pics required) then it says
L1029 ( That is an inductor probably black surface mount) then it says TV-SUB-ON. Well just below that is a resistor R1007 47 It is the only Resistor showing in that area. So that is my guess, but its only a guess.

How sure were you of it being a resistor?
Could have been a ferrite bead.

                          That is a ferrite bead.
                          Value is not critical.

Yes, you can use basically any ferrite bead as a replacement. As long as it is the correct size.

OK, there should be a capacitor marked 100 (metal can) nearby. Can you check the voltage across it? Can you post a picture of the area around that transistor?

I recently got my hands on a 60" Panasonic P60ZT60 plasma tv (european model) that has some strange issues along with an 8 blink code.
It know this tv is getting old but it was once considered one of the best plasmas ever made, and i think it is still holds on to that even by todays standards.

So, long story short. When i first got the tv it had a very bright washed out picture with very raised blacks in all picture modes and i couldn't find the cause in the picture setting menus.
After doing a factory reset this problem was gone and the picture was back to...

                                          Hi everyone,

I'm new here and trying to repair my Panasonic TX-P50V10E plasma TV, which is currently showing the 6 red blink error code.

Just for context: I'm used to building PCs and installing modchips in old consoles, but this is my first time trying to fix a TV. I'm French, and while my English is okay, I'm using ChatGPT to help translate and clarify my messages as much as possible — so please forgive any odd phrasing.

I'm also not very experienced with using a multimeter, but I'm very motivated and ready to follow instructions carefully and report...

I am sitting with a very similar issue.

Basically, had a probook that worked, gave it to someone, they returned it DOA. what the heck happened, I have no idea.

Caps and num lock blink 4 times, as per HP, thats a board failure. I am very new to this, so perhaps I should be posting a new thread?

Anyway, I resoldered the bios chip on after trying EVERYTHING else including reseating ram, cpu etc.

Multimeter shows 19.5V on power, so I presume thats correct. Fan spins, no display. No post. Bios chip looks good from what I can tell just not sure how...

                                          (Another) 7 BLINK TC-P60VT60 Panasonic - NEWBIE

Greetings from SoCal I am new to this forum but not new to forum world. I come from Automotive end of side which is my main passion in life. Give the automotive nature, I love fixing and restoring things and I have in the past fixed many simple electronics, soldering, etc.. but this is a bit more involved so I found this forum, and I am very glad I did.

I picked up a Panasonic TC-P60VT60 with the 7 BLINK error.
Upon removing the back plate I found spider webs, dead spiders, and an amazing amount of dust. I did my best to clean the surface of the boards with a portable vacuum...

Sony KDL-55W802A - Red led blink 8 times
                                          by Smartec82
                                          Hi,
I have this tv that works for about 15 to 20 minutes and then turns off, leaving the led to blink 8 times, this via HDMI, because I can't get into the tuning menu, it says Function unavailable.
Through the manual, I was able to verify that it could be a software problem, but unfortunately the tv already has the latest software and that's why it won't let me update.
Does anyone know of a way to reinstall the software?
