I suggest that you post the Model Number and also take some closeup pictures of the white connectors on the power supply board and be sure that the picture shows the markings on the circuit board at the connector that tells us which pin is which, usually the markings are Stby, PSON, BL_ON, 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 24V.

Sorry, I didn't see the Model Number in Post#1 is sanyo dp48249, I looked at a backlight inverter board like yours at shopjimmy.com and I see that it has some fuses they appear to be white with gold ends, you should check continuity of these fuses to make sure they are not open.
with the tv powered on, check the voltage on the small white connector that has the 3 black and 1 white wire, it's near the edge of the power supply board, I see it is labeled BL_ON, hook a volt meter with the black probe to chassis ground and use the red probe at the connector making sure it touches the metal part where the wire goes in, set your meter to DC Volts, report the voltage reading back here.
