Sanyo CRT, DS27780, hard to find dipped mica capacitor.

Does anybody know where I can buy about 3 of these caps online? I searched everywhere with no luck.

Are you sure they are dipped mica? I think they are probably metallized polypropylene. Digikey.com has suitable replacements. What makes you think they are bad?

Well I thought it was the vertical IC I bought a new one and changed it out and it did not work. So I got my heat gun and warmed them up a little and the screen went back to normal within a few seconds. I searched Digikey and mouser, is their a alternative I can try?

I think the two small lytics caps are bad, common failure in the vertical sweep circuits.

Yeah, I'll probable just have to recap the hole board. I have been also trying to find just the circuit board. If anybody will keep an eye out for a replacement board I would be grateful. Thanks!

if all you have is just a single horizontal line, then those two caps should more likely to fix your vertical sweep for now.

Film Capacitor (aka Polyester), 0.2uF, 200V

It says 204 because that's the value in pF -- 200000, which is the same as 0.2uF.

Apparently not a popular item with either Digi-key or Mouser.

Closest I can find that's actually available (Digi-key) is Panasonic ECW-F4204JL which is a 400v instead of 200v, so may be too fat:

              Length: 15.5mm
              Thick: 8.6mm
              Height: 13.3mm

I'll throw this out there and see what people make of it: It would be much easier to find a 0.22uF.

If they're in parallel, you could use a 0.22 and 0.18, though it's very likely two 0.22 will still work. Might lead to a slightly different vertical size?

                  If you go with 0.22uF:

                  Cornell Dubilier: DME2P22K-F (0.22uf, 250v), 6mm thick x 12.5mm long x 10.5mm high, 10mm lead spacing, 125c

                  Panasonic: ECQ-E2224KF (0.22uf, 250v), 5.5mm thick x 12mm long x 10.5mm high, 10mm lead spacing, 105c

There are more, I just did a quick browse through the ones actually in-stock at Mouser. The Cornell-Dubiler's would be my personal choice as they have a higher operating temperature rating, YMMV.

                      Hi everyone,

I'm in need of assistance with a Dell Precision 5820 Tower. The BIOS is locked with "Dell Security Manager," preventing access to the HDD-1 hard drive.

                      **Background:**

I recently purchased this Dell Precision 5820 Tower from a recycler who salvages equipment from abandoned office spaces. The computer was left behind by its previous owner and was password locked. Given that it can run Windows 11, I saw this as an opportunity to upgrade my setup.

Where to find a very small fpc connector 0.3mm between 2 pins ?
                      by corrize
Hello, I search this connector (oxydated).
It's a fpc zif low profile connector. It come from camera sensor, it is very small : 0.3mm between 2 pins.
I ordered 2 from Aliexpress called « 0.3mm pitch » but one was 0.5mm between 2 pins and the other 0.6mm. In fact « 0.3mm pitch » seams to be the pad width and not the distance between 2 pins.
I can't find it. The other websites like mouser dont show the datasheet, and I can't check if it is 0.3mm between 2 pins ?

Do you know how to find this connector please ? What is the exact name for find it ?
